Trying to understand this song. I know that a warrior's death was considered honourable. Dude is old, and will die soon, anyway. He's going a bit insane because he hasn't been rewarded with such a death. But what is the end of the song about? Does he gear up and go looking for a fight he can't win ie. gallop into enemy town/camp and just start hacking 'em up? Is he committing suicide by freezing to death? There is a bridge in Folsom CA, (Near sacramento) called the rainbow bridge. Its not anything special. It was for awhile the only way to get across town though. They have since built a bigger, wider, better bridge to help ease traffic.
