  • I cannot say why it was out of service as I have little knowledge of how Bart operates.

  • A bad day in BART history railfans should be celebrated especially the videos. Why was the train out of service.

  • Prime example of a control freak; several months ago a train operator hit the air horn right in front of me as the train was pulling into 19th St. - all because she thought I was taking FLASH pictures! I can understand her concern with the flash being mistaken for a gunshot, but she nearly blew out my eardrums for that! She did apologize as the train was leaving, though.

  • Bart was the only rail system that was soooooo paranoid. All the other lines I covered were very friendly. I never hide my taping from anyone least of all paranoid BART! BTW the dispatcher apologized over the train intercom by the time I arrive at Berkley. They must of felt like fools?

  • ooooooooh this is so dangerous... you put us all in danger css903, dude i saw this video... now were all gonna be harmed... nooooo (intended sarcasm for whole comment)

  • I think the voice recordings are pretty awesome!

  • @VivaLaBlairBear78 Glad you liked them, so sweet in surround sound

  • Awesome HD goodness!

  • Glad you like it

  • Thank You!

  • I know exactly how you guys feel. As a local filmmaker, it is just ridiculous that these government ruled public places restrict people of their creativity or leisure time! It's not like we're doing anything bad! In most cases we're promoting for them! That announcement is just too ridiculous!

  • Thank you, I never hide what I am doing. When I was about to Berkeley aboard the train announcement was made saying they were sorry I had been jumped on back at Richmond. I have been part of BNSF Citizens Rail Security since 06' I guess Bart doesn't know they can use Rail Fans as eyes and hears?

  • Did the train operator make the announcement on the train when you were in Berkeley about the message back at the Richmond station?

  • That announcement is just unnecessary. I have never heard of such a rule and it just puts me off that certain liberties cannot be preserved. One of my favorite pass times when visiting the Bay Area is taking BART. When traveling isn't an option, I love spending my free time watching these videos for pleasure and to think that this is now considered dangerous is just beyond me...

  • I appreciate your comments as I fully agree. The Sound Transit (Seattle) has the same brain dead notion that Rail fans are dangerous,(NO pixs) that's why I thought the Bart announcement was amusing. BNSF has created a BNSF (Rail Fans) Citizen Security to be the eyes & ears for their RR.

  • Well thats too bad as well. The way I see it these transit agencies will be hurting when ridership drops because they will have missed the opportunity of getting published on social media networks such You Tube.
