@jjwag92 there is an lcd screen mount that you can buy for it. i did and i got it for 50. its really worth it and you can playback clips

@jjwag92 you can buy a screen for 80 bucks, it drains battery fasted but comes with all types of back hatches to accomodate it.

I run Sony Vegas 8.

I shot some samples at 720p - 60fps. = MPEG4

My playback on Vegas doesn't run as smoothly in MPEG4 format. Even with a Quad Core Proc.

Did a conversion to .AVI, still kept the same frame rate at 59.94, 1.3333, 720p

After that, brought it on the time line and rendered it to either 24p or 30p. Not bad as far as slo mo but I've seen it happen smoother. But that's my process. Anyone else have any thing going? I run Vegas 8.

Is there any way around the mp4 issue. I have premiere pro and it absolutely will not touch mp4 until i convert to another format....

@SkimI3oarder1 I dunno about on a PC... I still have to transcode on a mac. there's a good program called mpg stream clip that can pretty quickly transcode mp4 files into something that's usable for editing.

Look up how to get them free online.

You don't know me but i guess my dad met ur dad at a conference. The Go Pro Hd camera looks pretty good for its price but how do u like it?

@Madinator6 ha, cool, Yeah I like it, shoots great, but it takes a fair amount of know how and tinkering to get good results... ie... shooting in 60p mode, then transcoding it from mp4 to an mov, then conforming it to 24p wth cinema tools to get the nice smooth slow motion... bit of a process. But nothing comes close to its quality given it's size.
