Thanks for posting. Saw Randy and Fred perform this week at the Halifax Metro Centre and was blown away. Randy is still one of the great rock guitarists. Let It Ride, one of my favourite songs of all time, sounds more amazing today than ever.
@MrSticks1994 Well... I was a little harsh. But when your in a small concert hall like place... You dont hit the ride and the crash that often... Well at least the general population doesnt.
Great,,,raw...just like old times. Fred still has that "steamroller" voice. I really lke this, especiallly how they do a couple licks of "Rock is My Life" at the end, Hey Steveelmo I envy your buddy foreven knowin the guys let alone being a guitar tech for em.....Rock On guys! This is the stuff legends were made of...
Awesome to see Randy and Fred do this song together again!
I was 13 when this song came out, and it was the first song I can remember declaring to be my 'favorite song ever". I specifically remember the opening chords striking me as "just right", and Fred's vocal. I'd given up hope of seeing these two guys together again. It'd be better if they could all be there, but I'm happy as is.
YES this is great--But ROB and Blair need to settle all this shit with Randy. Life is too short. BTO Reunion---NOT FRAGILE 2 available at WalMart in 2011. I can see where Randy would be tough to work with. As leader of BTO he should lead, settle this dispute, reconcile and make a new true BTO album with a tour....C'mon boys...time to GROW UP. For now this is fine--Good band--good new tunes
For those who may be interested, here is the play list from their 6/25/10 show: Let it Ride, Rock is my life, this is my song, Hold back the water, Hey you, Moonlight rider, Lookin' out for #1, Not Fragile, Stayed awake all night, American Woman, 4 Wheel Drive, Slave to the Rythm, Blue Collar, Rollin' Allong, Sledgehammer, You ain't seen nothin' yet, Roll on down the highway, Takin' care or business......Great show, lot's of energy, the "boys" seem to really enjoy themselves.
No offense to Mic and the other two guys, but why can't they just put all the legal stuff behind them and get back together?......Randy, Fred, Robbie, and Blair/ Tim.
Great to see these two back together again. Been a fan since day one of BTO and seen them sooo many times over the decades. Thanks for sharing this video!
