The yank band were called the Young Rascals then about 1967/68 they dropped the young and recorded about 7 albums under the name the Rascals broke up late 70's anyways the "Wirral" Rascals sound good but I reckon they will have problems with the name if they get as big as the Artics etc.
And by the way I'm not a yankee doodle cunt I'm from Glasgow so if you want to go ahead fucking go for it cos we're all as hard as you lot!!! ( only kidding Liverpool's awright with me!).
Alex was inspired by miles kane the little flames were "sounding" like the arctic monkeys before the arctics sound like they do now and plus i think they sound different just listen to death ramps but i still love the arctic monkeys more though
i reckon your right pal. Put em in the same genre maybe but not exact same styles, they're pretty individual. Amazing when they supported the arctic monkeys at ally pally
i think the band will be really big after alex turner and miles kane release there album, and after listening to there b-sides it shows they must have some quality songs to go on there album if there b-sides
Well actually, I think the singer's voice sounds a bit like Liam Gallagher on the early Oasis songs, but maybe I'm wrong... see you next week in Birmingham!
Mmm... na, na... I Think He LOOKS like Liam on the early Oasis videos, but he definitely does not sing like Liam... Think about it... Listen Again... ;o)

No doubt they´re inspirated by the Arctic Monkeys.. also with Alex and Miles project, but they still manage to have their own style..cool

I don't think they sound 'like' the Arctic Monkeys, or like they are trying to be Arctic Monkeys, no way. They are pretty individual I reckon.
