Omg! Thank you person! I forgot about the Epoxies!! I can't believe it, cause I used to love LOVE them. wow, thank you for reminding me. ayayayayayayyaayyayayyaya wooooooooohooooooooooooooooooooooo
OMG, Extremo, that IS you, man. Great clown suit. Of course, I realize that's just your everyday attire. I'm gonna have to make some more episodes someday. This was way too much fun.
If by weird you mean different or unique, then no, Portland is not weird. There are however lots of people trying to be weird as might be defined, I suppose, by those from a small town in Minnesota but in the end, the kids with punk rock costumes, hippies and protesters/anarchists, super-flaming queers and bike nazis just come across as annoying and contrived.
Portland, Oregon = Cesspool for degenerate rejects, the only city where people think its cool and trendy to be homeless, music snobs everywhere who think they earn "cool points" or something for liking a band no one's ever heard of, The sun comes out once a year for about at 3 month period, then you never see it again, faggot freindly, people freeze their asses off in the morning protesting global warming, forget about starting a business there.

I was just there and its not weird at all, i felt like I was in a Gap commercial..Come to San Francisco that's what you should being these episodes on. Other then Hawthorne District which was tiny not very impressive. Also no diversity at all.
clearly because you didn't see anything you liked portland isn't weird at all. Clearly if you were too lazy to seek it out it doesn't exist. Maybe you need to scratch the surface a little and not just go to the pearl or the cookie-cutter "alternative" hawthorne areas.
I think Portland is weird BUT I feel the keep Portland weird thing is mostly hype when they make that slogan look like 70-80% of the city is weird. Pearl and some of SW is like the gap I can agree and its not the greatest lol. Hawthorne, Hollywood, and Old Town imo are the best areas along with NE Stark area where Morrison Hotel is and My fathers place. Cool area there. The rest seems either lame or ghetto. This says Portland rocks if theres 3 top areas anyhow.
I loved the naked bike ride... where else in the country can you find something like that? I wanted to go to the big pillow fight in Pioneer Courthouse Square so bad! I love it here in Portland, it's so friendly.
check out my webshow weird in ptown.on my channel.

There is also the Keep Austin Weird phenomenon , which I believe is what inspired Keep Portland Weird, tho it may be the other way around.

I am from Portland and I left because it was no longer weird.
It is now filled with people who moved there looking for something weird, but the weirdness is gone.
It has become an infomercial for a co opted "indi" idea of weirdness.
It is still a beautiful city , but the truly weird people have dissolved into the background or gone on to become normal.
