@adionice well yes but trevor isnt the kind of person to follow genres, the band has punk rock influence (you can here it in the bass, especially in the newest album, ritual) trevor said (and the band agreed) they like the hardcore genre because the bands and the fans have a better sense of friendly community and deathmetal feels more like a competition, which is true, were always arguing about which band has better musicians and what not, deathcore is more accepting to people than deathmetal
