my favorite band right now, and my dear friends Dumptruck butterlips had the pleasure of opening for them and having Andy and Tim get up and play a few songs with them, had me in tears.
ithought the same thing i had it playing in a smaller window surfing the net an i heard the guitar part an was likeph shiytttt jerrryyy, sounds a lot like himm, railroad earth The JAMZ
Love these guys, nice sound, unique to bluegrass genre, and much needed. Do not remind me of the dead at all(20 yr tour veteren), but thats why these guys are unique, like the dead, they are on there own!!!
I wonder how much dead you have heard? The dead are/were essentially a bluegrass band like these guys. That is why they sound so similar to me. They got that roots Appalachia thing goin' on. Don't get me wrong they each have very different sounds. Also, the Dead were VERY different live than on record. Almost to the point of being two different bands. But, I enjoy these guys very much. Cheers

Unique ... and yet not so unique. They absolutely drip with the sound of the Grateful Dead. I do love these guys.
