@RTSnRPGfreak "You take the high road and I'll take the low road, and I'll get to Scotland afore ya; for me and my true love will never meet again on the jolly, jolly banks of Loch Lomond." I believe the title is Loch Lomond.
"Cheatin'? Why that identical situation occurred in the New Herides Open, Cudduferblade verse Fuddle in 19-odd-18. And what about Fradis versus Ginfridder? Huh. Pisbo verse Sturgeon in the Casablanca Amateur? Cheatin' indeed."
6:40 - 6:52 Can someone verify what Bugs said, did that situation actually happen at those events, and more to the point, did those events even exist?
There were four basic "traits" concerning Scotsmen at the time this was released: they talked like Sir Harry Lauder with an exaggerated "burr"; they were spendthrifts {McCrory retrieves his own bullet, explaining, "It's been in the family for years"}; they were experts at playing golf and the bagpipe; and they usually wore kilts. Of course, today WE know that wasn't so...
I want to hear an extended version of 7:12, Warner Bros cartoons had some of the best jazz music, its a shame that Carl Stalling did not release an album on some of the music he covered.
Stereotypes in cartoons like this are hilarious, it's weird when people are so thin skinned to get offended at them (I'm scottish, angry ginger man in a kilt is hilarious)
