dont get me wrong i am a MAJOR trekkie but this movie (whilst being an ok movie) was awful startrek! if your a starwars fan you will love this movie. it meses up so much in canon stuff. in the future of startrek (around the time of voyager season 7 and startrek nemisis) spock had died and romulus was still around so spock couldent have gone back in time after romulus was (if ever) distroyed. the only way i can explain it to myself is if tha WHOLE thing is quiet simply a another quantom reality.

That`s a pretty good anylization for not having seen the movie before. The only mistake was the part were they said Romulus were destroyed, that was obviously Vulcan since you see in the next frame Vulcan beeing hit by a beam for Neros ship. But otherwise awsome! (ps. sorry about my spelling)

Were I in your shoes, I'd consider that a good thing. It looks like this movie was made for YOU than for the long-time Trekkies out there, so you get to watch this movie with a completely clean slate and judge it for what it is without also comparing it to Trek movies and TV shows past.
