I've been debating getting a tattoo or piercing for about a year now, the only thing stopping me is I want to give blood (Two resolutions there) and I'm hoping that if I get a clean bill of health after a blood test that they'll let me slip past the ban of gay men donating.
I think tattoos are great. They seem to tell a story to someone. A friend of mine did the same thing and got a symbol at a young age, then went back about 20 years later, and got a tattoo over it, and it's amazing what a good artist can do, to change the entire design to something different.
I will be so happy when this tattoo craze is over! No reflection on you though, Mate. I was in the Navy way back in the 1950's and many of my buddies had tattoos done when they went into Chicago on 8 hour passes. I was tempted, but didn't have it done, and now I am glad. It is expensive, I hear, to have them removed. Where yours is located, is not too bad since it is on the inside of your arm, rather than on the outside, but yours would be hard to hide unless you wore a long sleeve shirt.

@CogitoErgoBum I open up and sort out the beer/clean/stock up etc so I came in a bit early to get all my jobs done- the place was shut to customers so there wasn't any risk of someone walking in... thank god! And thank you, nice to hear you like them :)
