Fuck this is crazy. I thought I was good when I finally got a no death run on hard. Looks like you could do that in your sleep. The weapon swap technique is key when playing this game for quick boss kills. Amazing!

great run:) i was very impressed if u didnt use any tools for this one. very cocky gameplay, 5/5 :) im curious tho, why do you keep two cluster missiles and alternate between them frantically? to keep you on ur toes? or doest it help damage done // chris , ps, my fav combo was always the flamethrower and these cluster missiles (thats at least always what i called them :D)

@AboveEmAllProduction i think when he switched weapons its faster because if u just shoot once it only shoots 3 missles and i think when he switches its automatic but idk i also call the C missles crush missles (thats what i like to call them) :D

@AboveEmAllProduction I switch constantly because I do more damage that way. If I don't switch, then I have to wait for the missiles to disappear before I can shoot more.

@BigDog91527 No, I don't have the problem you described, but what you mentioned is a problem with the cheap chinese knockoff controllers. It's really hard to find good snes controllers nowadays. :(

@ 0:50 Isn't it faster to go along with the tank? You can go with the tank without stopping and killing that base with a single blast (I think you know but I'm just curious).

@DarkLotus118 No, jumping inside the tank is slower because the screen stops scrolling for a second when you jump inside it. Also, destroying the wall with point blank double spread is barely slower, if it's slower at all.

@putitse I used a Phillips DVDR 3576H DVD recorder. They don't make them anymore, and they're expensive because they have 160 GB hard drives (mine was 300 dollars), but well worth it.

All 6 stages look great and are very challenging.

Congratulations for this run, it is simply amazing.

But i have to ask you this: why in stage 4 when that ship attacks with those lasers didn't you destroy the lasers and preferred to stand between them?

Have it checked by the experts and expert-speedrunners of the same games at the Speed Demos Archive.

Confirmation takes longer with a straight video, as the recorded demos in the game's format itself are far more effective.

This is also used to differentiate between the TAS and the USR (Unassisted or Unaltered SpeedRun) within the archives.

Particularly with unaltered aspects of the run, descriptions of tactics, bloopers, etc., it's easily revealable, and universally transparent to gamers.
