@annielouism It's Paul Schaffer ( David Letterman's sidekick and band leader). He was in the Saturday Night Live Band for five years and appeared in some skits.

Cool... haven't seen this since it first aired. I was in the studio audience for the dress rehearsal. It was a live Thanksgiving show. I believe it was the last time the original SNL cast (or most of it) performed together on television.

Yes, I've got 2 hours on Beta. I tried posting the Steamroller, The Love God and Olympic Diving and got scolded......they removed it. It's some of the best comedy footage ever recorded, sheer Martin genius.
