Clearly singapore idol doesn't care how fair the competition is. By allowing people to vote as much as they want, all they want is the money. If they are bothered to make this competition fair, a vote per person will be feasible.
sezairi is good but i think there are so much better singers than him. and all the winners are malay boys so obviously many of the viewers of singapore idol are malay girls. only malay girls would go crazy over this show.

Song is wonderfully written by Ken Lim. But the singer simply can't make it. He's the best amongst the worst this season that's all. Put him with the first 2 seasons idols, he would be idling.

When the season first started, I hated this bugger. I was supporting May and Huda. When I got to final 3, i was supporting Sylvia. By the time the Grand finals were over, i didn't care who won cuz i was really proud of BOTH of them. And i don't think he won by race. We Malays only make up 13% of Spore! And not all of us watch this show. And not all who watched bothered to vote. And not all who voted voted for Sezairi. That being said, I think Sylvia rawks and if both have albums i'll get both!!
i have my doubts bout sezairi after he won the idols.. but, when i heard this song on channel 5.. i was like, "not bad, he is better than hady and maybe taufik too"

He won on this song ... the honesty, heart and sincerity emanated from him - always thought Sylvia would get it based on her package but when Sezairi sang this - it got him the title
When you are given a brand new song to sing, it is really a test how well you can sell that song. Sylvia is seen struggling with this whereas Sezairi's rendition is very honest and sincere. After listening to Sezairi, you just want to hear more of the song and will want to find where you can find it. Thats what make an albumn sell. Sezairi's albumn will fare much better than the previous 2 idols because he is able to truly understand what singing is all about.

Honestly, i find that Malays have better vocals than any other races in Singapore. Pretty much the fact, Malay's have the "blues" voice. But i was really upset that sylvia didn't win. I dont find her singing "touch by an angel" a v.good reason for her not to have won. It is only 1 song, and it really demands alot in her vocal range. She did her best. Sylvia ftw. Sezairi is cool too, but i find Sylvia having all the better personalities of a star.
I think what stands out the most in the performance is the fat girl at the back. No offence but she reminds me of the black girl in glee. She does seem to be rather fun and have a great voice. Who is she? She almost stole the show from sezairi and Sylvia with her great smile.
Don't you just love to see people gives bad remarks about Sezairi, knowing that he Won by most of the votes. I tell you all anti-Sezairi fan club, why not instead of wasting your time typing bad remarks about Sezairi, and instead channel all your hates to the most of the Singaporean that voted for him to win.. I wasn't "lifted up" when Sylvia sang this song cause her voice sounded harsh. But when Sezairi sang this song, especially when the choir joined in, i was lifted up. Prolly cause he sang it smoothly. This song is supposed to be sung slowly and smoothly, in my opinion.

i bet the votes have been the same voters from the 1st time of voting... predictions of who going to win s'pore idol would be already be in similar order almost every week, since only this voters would really vote for them. i think i saw a comment about only having 1 vote per person. i think it would be better if votes were limited to 1 vote per household. When you are given a brand new song to sing, it is really a test how well you can sell that song. Sylvia is seen struggling with this whereas Sezairi's rendition is very honest and sincere. After listening to Sezairi, you just want to hear more of the song and will want to find where you can find it. Thats what make an albumn sell. Sezairi's albumn will fare much better than the previous 2 idols because he is able to truly understand what singing is all about.

Honestly, i find that Malays have better vocals than any other races in Singapore. Pretty much the fact, Malay's have the "blues" voice. But i was really upset that sylvia didn't win. I dont find her singing "touch by an angel" a v.good reason for her not to have won. It is only 1 song, and it really demands alot in her vocal range. She did her best. Sylvia ftw. Sezairi is cool too, but i find Sylvia having all the better personalities of a star.

I think what stands out the most in the performance is the fat girl at the back. No offence but she reminds me of the black girl in glee. She does seem to be rather fun and have a great voice. Who is she? She almost stole the show from sezairi and Sylvia with her great smile.

Lets face it Guys. The majority of the population in SG has voted & u guys are the minority ones who disliked him. Maybe u guys didnt vote for Sylvia or just didnt vote at all. Anyway i am sure the judges voted for him becoz Sylvia was too nervous & her performance was terrible. I wasn't "lifted up" when Sylvia sang this song cause her voice sounded harsh. But when Sezairi sang this song, especially when the choir joined in, i was lifted up. Prolly cause he sang it smoothly. This song is supposed to be sung slowly and smoothly, in my opinion.
