  • Ask yourself this: Why is the low-life person working as manager of a storage facility? Did they go to college for 6 years and then decide their big career goal was to manage a self-storage unit? Ha! Ha! Self-storage places have a high turnover, that's why they have a permanent sign that reads "Now Hiring!" They can't be very choosy when hiring, so they don;t do background checks, no drug test... their only criteria: the person must be alive and not totally blind or deaf. LOL

  • @CADtekk TROLOLOLOL

  • He "breaks into" his unit, I mean seriously... Locks keep honorable people out, it's not fort knocks, you're breaking into the building and your storage unit... I could make a video of me breaking into my neighbors house and stealing his tv, and say wow his house isn't very secure... I understand you're frustrated but you shouldn't make a point, by "breaking" into something.

  • an where di you say this place was

  • WELL WHAT DO YOU EXPECT THE EMPLOEES WERE STEALING FRON YOU HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

  • Comment removed

  • Also, by recording you breaking into your unit and posting it on youtube, you are teaching many many people how to do it.

  • The amount of cameras a facility has wont make any difference if the manager working does not care about the Tenants or the property. Complaints will be made against almost any company, it happens. Its the people in the office that can make or break an experience for customers.

  • The problem I see is, why are you being allowed to break into your unit? Where is the manager? There are over 2,000 public storage properties, not all of them are like the one that you are storing at. If security is important to you, do some research and store at another Public Storage facility that better fits your needs. I work at Public Storage. I check my property at least 5 times a day. I pay attention to every single person that comes through the gate.

  • that sucks man i feel bad for you

  • WHINY ASS BITCH, GO CUT THAT BEARD OFF SON!

  • Oh, well I see what your problem is! You rented with Public Storage! I think the facility you were looking for was Security Public Storage.

  • You prolly shouldn't video tape yourself breaking and entering lol.

  • why were the parts edited right before it was "opened" and "closed" back up. The guy was struggling both times, then the camera cut right to when it was opened and locked back up. This video is the RIPOFF, not the storage unit.

  • Y WUD U EVEN STORE YOUR STUFF WITHOUT CHECKING THEIR SECURITY SYSTEM ANYWAY U OLD DUMMY

  • You will run into security issues with ANY storage facility. As far as the gate goes...machines break, and chances are the gate was broken so they had to leave it open. If it had been broken and closed, you would have bitched that you couldnt get into your space.

  • Some of you people are dumb and most of you aren't paying attention. Insurance on your goods at PS is MANDATORY. So stop calling this guy names, he had to have insurance to use the the storage facility. Secondly, to the person talking about "parking in the loop" keeping the front gate from closing. Pay attention, you can't close a gate that is not there. More importantly, if the gate was there he would have to be damn near touching it w/ the car for it to open.

  • Video cameras are supposed to deter crimes, but they don't.

Career thieves laugh at locks. No lock is fool-proof. If you don't fully inspect the facility, read the fine print, or buy insurance... it's your fault.

You say that the person must have made many trips to steal the things. If they had a big cart they could have done it in one trip. The desk clerk would just see someone using a cart. Unless the person is dressed like the classic H'wood burglar, it won't draw attention.

    Get smart(er).

  • @HunterMann OK tell me where I can find a storage unit facility that has poured concrete steel reinforced 1ft thick walls, with bank vault doors. NSA agents as employees that know how to security check everyone. Oh and has fighter jets on standby for when someone tries to brake in my unit?

  • @startreking2007 Glad you asked. Get out your calculator, it's class time! Figure a person spends $100/month for their self-storage. They do that for 5 years. That's $6,000. For less than that they could have created a secure basement vault in the floor, locked securely then hidden with a rug or other floor material. Back to the math lesson: Likely the value of the person's crap they are storing is worth much less than $6,000. So, what is the point? People do not own stuff, it owns them.

  • Storage units have very thin walls & doors. A can opener would work just fine. If there's an empty unit next to yours, thief can enter that one, use un-screw the little sheet metal screws, enter your unit from the side. They close it back up so it appears to have been entered through the front. If you have to rent a unit: buy insurance! Man, if the tools were how you make your living, you should be more careful!! It's obvious the metal doors are thin and easy to break-in...

  • Hey your a fucking piece of shit, you're probably one of the cheapskates that didn't want to get the minimum insurance either(that would have cost you .26 cents a day, so your shit got jacked, and nobodies gonna do anything about it. But judging by your looks and how your dressed, you probably couldn't afford it. The bottom line is I hope you tried to sue Public Storage, you would get nothing! You signed a contract sir, stating that you knew that Public Storage does not assume responsibility

  • Causing online is not nice with children reading the web. I had the insurance on my PS and they never pay claims. Also someone who thinks they locked their place thinks it is secure and the Public storage does their up keep on their places. Not nice to criticize as you are not aware of the full situation.

  • this guys is an idiot!

  • What a stupid Ahole......Moron. Go store somewhere else

  • The gate is inside the building, we can see it on the video. You're also parked in the loop which prevents the gate from closing after you entered your code.

You also broke through two doors that aren't really supposed to be locked, and then forcefully broke into your own unit. You made it look easy, but it took tools, effort, and deliberate circumvention of locks.

For someone so concerned about security it's almost comical that you didn't even purchase insurance.

  • WOW- these comments are embarassing to the entire self storage community... It looks like a couple of 10 year olds fighting. Anyways. I can't blame this guy for being upset, but it was his responsibility to learn about the facility and the way that self storage works. The truth is that many facilities have little to no security- most self storage companies don't invest in security much because they are not liable for lost/damaged/stolen goods unless they are shown to be negligent.

  • excellent work!

  • I bet you declined the Insurance when you moved in, ugh?

  • 1:54 "Turn it off, honey" XD

Yea let me "adjust" the lock so I can break it open. WOW!

  • sorry, 1:52

  • Hey etmesi its really great how you come on here to protect you man. I mean most gays aren't as open about it as you are. Even most when he looks like he came straight from the community bathroom at the trailor park. Is that where you too met? Did he kick your foot under the stall? Also what did you have to be jealouse of? Your entire life fit inside a storage the size of my guest room closet. Get a job and move out of mommy's house. She said she is sick of you anyway.

  • I believe this is the wrong place to look for a gay man maloso1313 I am pretty comfortable with my manly hood and at least I am married to women. I would be glad meet with you any time to see if your man enough. I suggest you go to a gay bar.

  • For one thing I am married to a women and have kids as well. Till you get your life together you should not talk. Please keep your Gay antics to yourself. Keep your lonely life to yourself.

  • If you are married I feel sorry for her. You are obviously a closet homo. Now get a job so her parents can move you out and save some face around the neighborhood.

  • Since your a Homo it is hard for you to depict if what is a home or not. We are seniors and her parents are dead maloso1313 waist if everyone's time.

  • What is maloso13 doing the owner, why protect PS if they can't their selves?

  • Hey etmesi why did you turn your comments off on you well put together video of nothing? Did I make you look stupid?

  • No body listens or has the time for your innuendoes and cause of drunkenness online. It is obvious you do not own anything and never have and are jealous of those who do. You took care of your self just fine in the stupid department.

  • maloso1313 should be called the night time alcoholic prowler that can't spell.

  • no you took care of showing that your stupid on your own.

  • no you took care of showing that your stupid on your own.

  • No body listens or has the time for your innuendoes and cause of drunkenness online. It is obvious you do not own anything and never have and are jealous of those who do. You took care of your self just fine in the stupid department.

  • If you are going to email people and accuse them of being drunk because they use words too large for you to understand at least spell things correct. Retard!

  • you really didn't need a storage for that stuff. A dumpster would have been perfect. Would have even saved you some money so you could feed that cow you call your wife. I mean it can't be cheap. I mean even if you feed her 1$ cheese burgers all day thats still 120$ a day. Maybe you could work for the police since you seem to be really good at telling people how they got robbed... only you would have to prevent it... and you didn't do that did you?

  • No body listens or has the time for your innuendoes and cause of drunkenness online. It is obvious you do not own anything and never have and are jealous of those who do.

  • Also were there cameras when you moved in? No? Then I guess that would make you stupid. Why would you ask if there were cameras there when you were "robbed" most likely by your self? Its just dumb to say "Oh they didn't have cameras there when they didn't to start. Can you fly? Oh really I thought you could? Now I am in shock because hell I knew you couldn't but my memory just caught up with me....... how stupid.

  • HEY i THOUGHT I KNEW WHO YOU WERE.... Weren't you that guy who climb out of the roof of that liquor store and fell on the bottles? Or were you the guy who put the bag over his head and forgot to cut eye holes to see and knocked him self out walking into the door of the store you were going to rob? Now since you are stupid I will tell you do not try those things. See you have to tell people like him that or he will try to sue you when he does because " No one told me"

  • Etmesi. You are a tool. You have a video showing you can't clean up dust. MooseNuckle here can't seem to understand what insurance is. But I love your statement that anyone who rent from PS is stupid. When you your self do.... Kinda Dumb. Now I don't want to take the attention away from Mooseknuckle as he is trying really hard to think of something smart to say. Maybe someday it will happen. Till then I guess we'll just have to read the ramblings of a retard

  • Also where did you get that cell phone? It looks like you have a microwave hooked to your belt. I always find it funny when worthless people have cell phones hooked to thier belts like people on walstreet. I mean am I suppose to believe any besides public storage asking for thier money is calling this guy for anything? Who would need this guy so bad they call his cell? "Ahh hey Charlie... umm if your not raping sheep could you come home mom wants to to turn the lights out in your room."

  • This guy is clearly the know all be all of storages. Hell I bet he has been evicted from his home so many times he knows all the people at public storage by the names. Hell I would even bet they send him notcies to pay his rent every 16th because Who needs to pay on time when you can stretch to out till the 30th and pay those late fees. I bet Public Stoage even gets to sell him a lock once a month for failure to pay..... but damn if he doesnt get his god given right to be stupid....

  • Okay I admitt it. I stole your stuff. Only I didn't break in. Your a retard and forgot to put you lock on. Just like you forgot to catch up with the year 2009 and change your clothes. Now get back to burger king and make my number 2. This time if I find pickles I will make my own video and send it to your boss (the 17 year old high school student).

Also your wife sounds kinds hungry you should feed her. "I got that" she ment the Cheese cake... what a cow

  • Just 2 questions, Sir;

What information, and to what depth did you seek information prior to exercising your trust in this facility?

What information do you have which was not available to you at the time of your decision to use this facility?

  • 9) INSURANCE, that is what normal people have to protect thier things, Not that anything in the pile of crap would be worth anything, Infact you should leave 5$ for the trouble of remove that garbage.

    10) If the gate was broken or as it looked ripped off I woudl guess it wouldn't grow back. Knowing this I would assume it would have to be ordered and might take more then one day, but since there was a gate before I woudl have to believe that it hadn't been long.

  • 7) Milk crates belong to dairies. While you look like a farmer you are not. So you stole them. Hard to report stolen property .... I belive that would also be yet another felony.

    8) Most storage places have cameras on thier gates not inside building and other places, Why? Because what would you do with a picture of someone taking your stuff? Nothing, because you do not know them and the news does not care. Which brings me to # 9

  • 5) Hmm. Can anyone say burglary tools? I believe thats a felony in most states. Accessory after that fact is what you call it when I watch your video and committ a crime based on what you taught me... Also a felony.

    6) (I know the numbers are getting bigger try to keep up Mr. Trailor Park) I love how you couldn't get in the door and had to stop the camera and "fix" the door so you could get in.

  • Wow where to begin..

    1) You must have paid for your video camera with the INSURANCE money you made from robbing your self

    2) Invest in some proper clothing before under taking public videos. You look like grizzle adams after a bear raped him.

    3) If I were Public Storage I would charge you to have the handle fixed on the door as you clearly broken it or added to the damage already there.

    4) I am sure the tenate's whose image you captured gave you written consent to use that.

  • hmmmmm, that is why they invented this stuff called protective wrap, it is amazing stuff and it works. If your stuff was that important you should have protected it. It is your responsibility, not someone elses. I love when people cannot take responsibility for their own actions. Further more which insurance protection did you choose? Might want to read the certificate closely.

  • Did customer expect or know this was going to happen? Also what was explained to me I was getting the storages with the new roll up doors that has BRAND NEW rubber sealers in my storages. Just like the towers on the 911, maybe they should have had the buildings hydraulically lower into the ground and expect to be hit by a jet? You really don't have to much smarts. Because of your antics it prompted me to upload a little video of my own. Type in You Tube Public Storage Terrible Experience.

  • The only reason why you are defending PS is because you are an employee of theirs. As far as your high priced attorneys you claim PS has to pay to keep them out of trouble is due to all of the games, and mischeif they pull with there tenants, do your research PS has a class action suit against them for not paying there employees what they are intitled to and had to pay out for the suit. HMMM your rediculous comments are not going to change my opinion and that is a fact.

  • You're funny, all this over a little dust.

  • A little dust, my couches and inside my boxes were coated. My wife's wedding dress is ruined. This is far from over. I paid $15,760 for my furniture not to mention $20K for my tools and LCD TV. Try running electronics with sand and dirt in them? Please let me know how they work.

  • Ok, I am a former employee of PS...and trust me when I say, I hate the company. They fired me for no reason and I've been unemployed since. It's been tough, and I do, in some way, blame PS. BUT: The contract you sign when you move in says that the total value of your items will not exceed $5000 in value because PS can legally not take any responsibility for your items. You should have read the contract.

  • Also, it's just common sense to protect your items that you plan to store. These things are basically garages or Sheds. Would you leave your wife's wedding dress or furniture in a shed or garage unprotected? Then why would you store it unprotected in a storage unit? You, sir, are an idiot. Stop blaming others for your incompetence.

  • I guess you and any other employee of PS would care about what others have to say is due to the fact they are not your belongings and it is clearly evident PS could care less about there belongings to allow this kind of mischeif to go on with with there staff and tentants.

  • If you're an attorney you skipped english class. you should read your comments.

  • Only your opinion. WAMU, World Savings, Wachovia all thought they were untouchable and thought they could get away with cheating the people. What goes around comes around. This is the price Public Storage pays, it's called freedom of speech which is legal in the US.

  • Very GOOOOOD point. Maybe a bath too before school.

  • Pile of crap like Maloso1313 is

  • i know the law i work for the co. this has nothing to with all these nrs codes your quoting. like someone else said learn to read and good luck in sueing public storage they have better lawyers than you can ever afford

  • We will see about that, word can go along way. The bigger they are the harder they fall.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm am a an attorney you should never assume you know the law, I suggest visiting the law library.

  • it's not public storage problem that dust blew in your unit, here is a suggestion lay a blanket or towel on the inside of your unit that offers some protection

  • The think is I paid for insurance to cover these happening and the insurce is actually garbage and a waist of $8 per month. You might not know that the law is written as:

  • (1.) Violation of NRS 90.245 Fraud, deceit and defraud defined. Fraud, deceit and defraud are not limited to common-law fraud or deceit. (Added to NRS by 1987, 2150; A 1989, 160)

(2.) Violation of Bus. & Prof. Code 17200, et seq. - "Unlawful" Business Practices (TILA)

(3.) Violation of Bus. & Prof. Code 17200, et seq. - "Unfair" and "Fraudulent" Business Practices

(4.) NRS 90.845 Violation of abusing Payment of fees by electronic transfer. (Added to NRS by 1997, 494)

  • NRS 90.845 is talking about banking not younot paying on time or being broken into.

Also who drfrauded you? It would seem you didn't get insurance , which they all offer. Assholes like you are the reason I have battery charges.

  • (5.) Breach of the Covenant of Good Faith

(6.) Violation of Bus. & Prof. Code 17200, et seq. - "Unlawful" Business Practices (Fin. code 22302).

  • The point is it is not about being sue happy or loved to cause problems, when companies become a large conglomerate they tend to neglect customers and as an end result walk on people which is where I put my foot down.

  • please dont generalized because you have a poor facility in your place. it doesn't follow that ALL PUBLIC STORAGE facilities nationwide are the same like yours.

why don't you rent in our place and you will see that even you leave your unit open for 1day or more, you will never lose anything.

fyi, learn to read the AGREEMENT before you rent and it clearly stated in the AGREEMENT that you are storing your STUFF in your own RISK.

READ READ and LEARN to READ...that's all folks.

  • In the Reno facility have been screwed as well. This complex at 200 Telegraph hired Gardeners with garden blowers to blow the yard and the dust and sand blew under the door of both my storages and The insurance nor Public Storage offered any means to solve or clean my belongings.

  • read your agreement...learn to read...ok?

the entire agreement has no warranty...

  • Are you blind that the Public Storage was secure or wasn't? It is easy to see it was not secure.

  • Looks secure, you had to break in to make your video, and should be arrested for it as well.

  • are you an IMBECILE and dont know how to comprehend my point here?

secure or not, the point here is, you need to READ the AGREEMENT. if you are not comfortable with the AGREEMENT, then don't rent a unit in PS - just as simple as that.

    learn to READ and COMPREHEND.

PS will not oblige you nor coerce you to rent with them.

  • What ever agreement of Public Storage calling customer IMBECILE is really what Public Storage thinks of their customers.

  • IF YOU CAN'T READ...YOU ARE ONLY SAYING THAT YOU ARE STUPID and IMBECILE.

learn how to read...just as simple as that.

  • Why would anyone say their selves are stupid? People would be stupid to sign up with PUBLIC STORAGE

  • i rest my case.

if you can't get my point here...im done talking with you.

it's hard to talk with narrow-minded person.

bye and thanks for you time, anyway.

  • Hey KOMIKO007, watch etmesi's video, it's so stupid. These two people are ignorant.

  • What video, loom28 sees mirages.

  • You should be put to rest, what good are you in life.

  • i'm not the biggest public storage fan ever, however i'm almost positive insurance was offered, and management made you aware that public storage was not responsible for any theft.

but i did like your video edit-- so easy to break in i had to stop the tape!! **it happens man, it'll be ok.

  • LOL. i liked when he couldn't open the door with his screw driver. he had to shut the camera off to reset the door so it would open as his 'example'. LMFAO

  • Nice job at making a video to show all of america how to break into Public Storage! Do you realize that filming like this is illegal?

  • I agree. Just because you, Sir, are a fuck-up at life doesn't mean you should blame everyone else for your problems. Get a life.

  • The thing is most people aren't like you and the simple fact is that those people that are like you breaking into storage units belong in jail. Thus keeping the majority of people using storage units safe from fuck wads like you and others.

  • Were you a burglar in your younger years?

  • Okay...I work for Public Storage. I will say that some properties are more secure than others...But we do offer insurance. The Insurance DOES pay you if something happens. Don't blame the company for your ignorance. As for the gate, It's an automatic gate that slides into the building...If you put in your code and pull up with, say, a truck...the weight censor keeps it from closing. Your unit was robbed...and you stayed? You're just a disgruntled customer with a camera and an uninterested wife.

  • public Storage is way over priced on Units compared to other Storage Places. As u can see in the Video them units arn't very secure at all!

  • Um...Public Storage is not over-priced. I look at the numbers everyday. Wait...I'm sorry, let me re-phrase that: Public Storage aint be ovr priced. I look at them numbers evry day.

  • I am alsoin the self-storage industry...and I agree with you. Short of making the facility like Sing-Sing prison grounds...secuirty cameras/gates/your own secure password/your own lock & keys, and insurance coverage?..I have never ever had a theft of a unit in 20 years!!!! Come to Highland Self-Storage in Peekskill, NY!!!! And yes, this fellow sounds like he is looking for monetary compensation..maybe he left his lock off on purpose!

  • actually, he has damageda the lock and was bending the frame out! I think he should pay for repairs!

  • So who would you say runs a secure facility?

  • I hope this guy was charged with breaking and entering along with vandelism. If he's such a secuity expert why didn't he notice all for these security problems when he moved in?

  • I read your responses to these comments and ,honestly, my six year old has better comebacks. "You idiot" and "Look in the mirro" and "look in the mirror, Einstein." The fact that you work with tools, shows that you are a blue collar worker who is uneducated about the risks involved when declining insurance. I PAY the 8 bucks for insurance, and I won't have to make silly videos when my stuff gets taken, and then NAMECALL anyone who disagrees with me in the comments. Stop cryin, you're a grown man

  • so blue collar workers are uneducated huh? Without blue collar wokers MORONS like you could not exist I feel sorry for your kid having a egomaniac for a parent is a bitch.

  • Can't really blame the guy u are paying for secure unit and u get A bad breakable unit. I never rent at public storage. Cuzz they are way over priced on there units. damn thieves steal anything they can. This guy has a point put yourself in this guys shoes who just got his unit broken into and see how you feel about burglers stealing from u.

  • oh and just because your facility is in the ghetto, doesnt mean they are all like that. out of hundreds of facilities, you just happened to store at one that sucked. maybe next time you should check into the security features a little better before you rent some where, especially if the problems are going to disturb you this much. you are just a disgruntled former tenant.

  • And you are an IDIOT.

  • Wrong again IDIOT. The management was aware of the video. The management of this facilty also told me they had complained to Corperate several times about the poor (lack of) security. I also showed the video to the police and were told by the officers that there had been several random break ins. sometimes the thieves had a good take and other times not. So before you go spewing garbage IDIOT maybe you should get your facts straight

  • Can't really blame the guy u are paying for secure unit and u get A bad breakable unit. I never rent at public storage. Cuzz they are way over priced on there units. damn thieves steal anything they can. This guy has a point put yourself in this guys shoes who just got his unit broken into and see how you feel about burglers stealing from u?

  • U think insurance is gonna pay? Some Storage places don't sell u insurance. Public Storage is way over priced compared to others out there. He just showed u how easy it was to break in! Put yourself in his shoes and see how u feel when u get your stuff stolen!

  • What good is it to have them if they don't work?

  • I agree with all those comments below. I work for PS and it's by and large a great place, with good security at most of them. Any place has problems from time to time, you know, broken gates or whatever, but I get them fixed right away. And if there's a problem, you call your INSURANCE COMPANY. That's why we require that you insure it. I wonder if he'll record his house break-in or car break-in?

  • You must have a real high I.Q. I bet they call you Einstein

  • that person is so right...if your house gets broken into, will you record that? telling everyone that you're lame because you didn't have good enough security systems? no wait, you'll post a video about the alarm company and how it's all their fault that someone broke in and stole your stuff.

  • should have got insurance it's only 8 dollars for the cheapest one. dummy. public storage employee's are not security guards.

  • What a duche. Does he realize that this makes him look like a criminal? All storage places are store at your own risk and Public Storage requires that you have insurance! So just claim it on your insurance...unless you stole your own goods. What a idiot...he most likely declined the insurance.

  • Talk about an IDIOT. Take a look in the mirror

  • Yeah, and I can break into your garage and steal your tools, also.

  • Like to see you try

  • Can't really blame the guy u are paying for secure unit and u get A bad breakable unit. I never rent at public storage. Cuzz they are way over priced on there units. damn thieves steal anything they can. This guy has a point put yourself in this guys shoes who just got his unit broken into and see how you feel about burglers stealing from u.

  • THANK YOU. Finally someone with common sense. I appreciate your comments. Thanx

  • thats messed up.

  • Spoken like A true uneducated redneck Apolgy accepted
