  • I remember the commercials with that Michigan accent. "I like town club diet pap cause it tastes just like regular pap"

  • @dfrye4 Michigan people dont have an accent.

  • Don't you DARE compare Faygo to all those terrible cans of sludge.

My Faygo is just too precious for that.

  • I was going to say this must be from a while ago if u can buy 5 loaves of bread for $2.55. Today it's more like 2 or 3 cheap loaves. BTW I noticed soda really hasn't gone up that much. You can get a 24 pack of Mountain Dew for, like, $6-7.

  • I remember going to the Town Club factory with my dad and getting 10 cases of pop every month in the late 70's. I miss Town Club pop!!!

  • Hey can anyone remember or remind me what were all the different flavors of Towne Club pop? We used to go to a Towne Club in Westland Mich on Wayne RD just south of Cherry Hill Rd in the late 70's and early 80's. I think we could fill a whole crate and not have the same flavor twice!

  • that's a damn good deal for 24 bottles!

  • I used to love the grape towne clube.

  • My grandma always kept Towne Club pop in her basement fridge! She and my bargain-loving grandpa lived kitty corner from the Cadieux Cafe. Nothin' like a cold bottle of Towne Club (or Faygo! or Stroh's!) after a few rounds of feather bowling!!

  • Is there a Mr. Belvedere commercial on here ?

  • @DetroitLives313 Yep! watch?v=5-FcwHKmm4k

  • @YouDummy Thank you very much!

  • Remember going to Sylvan Lake and getting a case every week when I was a kid. Totally cool post!

  • They sell Towne Club in glass bottles at Park Place Liquor Store in Southfield, Michigan. Now I can't say if the taste is the same as in the past, because I was too young to remember much about the original drink. The flavors they currently sell are grape, tropical punch, strawberry and cola.

  • yah, good stuff, the good old days. We had one in trenton Michigan. I remember going with my Dad and being able to create your own case of flavors.

  • Oh...My...Goodness! I LOVED Towne Club Pop!

  • pop never tased the same once they started putting it in plastic bottles. :(
