Actually, conditions were very good that day and I believe I could've kept on going all the way to the 101 freeway. But I thought it would be more prudent to stick around the area where I parked my car instead, just in case the wind died.

I wonder how far you could go east along the mesa before you lose lift. Although it looked like he was having a little trouble on the turnaround.
