Holly shit a good review finally, I watched the whole video I liked it. I am getting the American release I gave this a perfect 5/5.

This is actually just a preview but a review is forthcoming. The Wii one wound up being better than expected but I still prefer the 360 one just for the normal controls and dress-up mode.

My verdict? Buy the 360 one first and if you like it, THEN grab the Wii one. The Wii one is a sequel to the 360 one anyway :P

You just sold me on the game. I preordered it the instant I was done watching. I appreciate the gameplay video as well as the brief recap of the series history. It would have been nice to see some video of the two player mode you mentioned, but I guess I will see it for my self when I get the game. I am gonna have to track down the PS2 games now...

Nice preivew, man. I'll still thoroughly enjoy it regardless of how bland the levels look. I absolutely love hack n slash, and am a big DW and DMC fan. It looks more like a slower version of DMC, with shorter and less complex combos, as well as a less enemy intensive DW. I can see where some would get that impression. It just isn't a clone of either game IMO.

Regardless, thanks again, and I'll definitely be picking this up. We need more JPN games imported!

However, THE Oneechanbara series, like many entries from the Simple 2000 series, is a fanservice game. Also, the S2K games are possessed of a sick sense of humor. And nothing says "sick sense of humor" like zombies exploding in showers of sticky white goo that clings to our hapless female heroes.

The Simple 2000 series has gotten a number of releases in Europe, one of the few things I envy you guys for. I see no reason why this will change much.

GameFAQs says you'll be getting it almost the same time as us. Keep your eyes peeled for Zombie Zone and Zombie Hunters though as those were Euro-only Oneechanbara releases.

Also, All-Star Fighter, a cross-over fighter featuring the Oneechanbara chick and EDF Guy.
