Avengers is a popular DC Comic series... It is a team of superheroes including Iron man and Captain America led by Fury (played by the one eyed guy)... Mind you, Hulk was not exactly one of them.. As a matter of fact, in many series of the comics, the avengers' main mission was to stop/destroy the hulk, which they so desperately failed in.. Hulk was too powerful even for the whole avengers team combined...
