  • I know this is a very late response but you are totally right! I work with children in the cubscouts and whenever one of them says that their stomach hurts its normally due to them eating too many sweets and junk after proper meal times and tend to pig out at night time! We had a cub who fainted coz he was constipated and we gave him fruit juice and was then on the toilet for almost two days!! Yeah i know he was that constipated!! Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks flora blessed be xx

  • I've had problems due to being given too many antibiotics as a child (had a sore throat and 3 doctors prescribed 3 diff strong antibiotics). I had constipation problems ever since. Until I discovered green tea. And I also turned vegetarian a year ago. Veggies, fruit, yoghurt, cereal (fibres galore!) do the trick ;)

  • I wanted to ask you a question. It turns out that I am allergic to both milk and soy products. I wanted to know if you maybe know some products, available in the US, that doesn't have milk or soy in it (but does have things like calcium)? Because over here everything is soy or milk based. Perhaps I could order some online or something...

    Oh, and thank you for the probiotic-capsules tip. I started to take them a week a go and my energie level is going up... :-)

  • @InTheShadows83 Rice Milk and Almond Milk are great substitutes, however I'm not sure if they add calcium or not.

  • I have heard that warm water is the best in the morning from Edgar Cayce. I totally agree with him but certainly don't look forward to it. It really energizes me.

  • Flora, just FYI... I am VERY lactose intolerant BUT you CAN have yogurt even with lactose intolerance. My doctor told me to have yogurt because it has no lactose. Weird hey? Trust me, I eat yogurt and no other dairy lol.

  • how funny I just watched this video. I've gone without large quantities of dairy (I can't say 100% because it sneaks in there sometimes) for about 2 weeks and I've cut out pop and I have noticed that my pooping has increased. Best advice I can give for pooping is veggies and fruit = poop.

  • Hey Flora this was really good to talk about! Another thing to add is that your urine comes from the waste in our blood and the feces is from what we eat. My favorite thing about water that I tend to remember is that our bodies are like cars. You're supposed to put gas into the car but you can also put other things in there. The car just won't run as efficient and might break down.

  • Excellent advice there Flora. Also get plenty of fiber too from fruits and vegetables not cereal. Apples, bananas, spinach, kale etc are way better for you than allbran or whatever.

  • almond milk is WONDERFUL, it taste just like milk to me with all milks benefits but no fat. if you want a regular milk taste get the origonal kind, but it also comes in vanilla and some other flavors. i was sooo happy when i discovered this stuff. milk and cookies here i come!!

  • I've been thinking of going without dairy for a while, but I'm already a vegetarian, and I live with my parents (I'm 17). I've had enough issues with cutting out meat in a family that eats a lot of it, so what would you suggest for cutting out dairy? Or at least cutting down on it?
