The raw footage for the interiors is from Elite Force 2. The raw footage for the spaceship shots is from Starfleet Command II. Lot of modding and video editing. It's all explained on the webist.
Maybe I never gave it a chance. As a game it seemed, well, sort of ritualized. The space combat SFX were better than SFC3, though, a fact which about a dozen people have pointed out.
It wasn't a fabulous game, but it had its points. Interesting to see that it's a lot like the 18th century ship combat system in Empire:Total War. Only with not so much waiting around.
Are thanks oh and the voice of the alien is by Tony Jay, voice actor for the elder god in the legay of kain series of games, form Soul Reaver to Defiance, also Megabyte from Reboot and ao on and so forth.

The Romulans helped with the design -- and then backfitted the Scimitar so that the holocloak could be immediately beamed into place. Tricky little devils.

I dunno. Star Trek doesn't seem to be able to land the good gaming companies. Not sure why. Star Trek Legacy was lousy, and Star Trek Online is weak.

SFC 3, not SFC 2. Although I think that SFC 3 and Orion Pirates (aka SFC 2.5) are much better games than Bridge Commander.

Actually it's pretty simple. It's a Romulan piece of equipment. It has a built-in communicator that, when activated, defines it's exact location.
