I was there,& STYX was INCREDIBLE ! Ive seen ALOT of shows over the years,& trust me :I KNOW WHEN A BAND IS "ON" -& that night they were really tight.They did a medley w/'Loreli thrown in w/ some really old stuff & it was awesome.
Dennis De Young should return to Styx. He should do the classics, and let the new CD's be harder rock, with a ballad of his on them. He should do his solo stuff on the side. It'll never happen, but hey, a aging Midwestner can dream! :)
Oh please,I sure do have a clue.I saw STYX on the Equinox tour and a few others after that.I like them,but just like Journey they're a mere shadow of their former selves with Dennis DeYoung.Without him they're a casino act,they should bury their differences and reunite.Frampton on the other hand has a rich music history that includes a nice stint with Humble Pie.I bet he encored with "I don't need no doctor" a Pie classic.Bands often switch up on tour,it depends on the market.
This Concert was in a 10,000+ seat venue in Atlanta and it sold out thanks to Styx. On top of that, there was a HORRIBLE storm that night. The lightning was awful, yet everyone stayed and got soaked while they listened to Styx. Styx sounds just as good now, if not better than they did with DeYoung.
I'd like you to know the Frampton opened for Styx. Nobody watched him. When it was Styx's time to play, the whole venue was filled. Call them whatever you want, but don't put them down. You have no clue.

I saw Dennis perform at Sea World Orlando last year, it was a great show with al the Styx classics.

I think Frampton is WAY better then the group STYX. They are worse as they every be with Dennis. With him it was better! Thanks jackass Tommy!!
