@imlaughing2death I'm not 100% sure (because I live in Minnesota & only saw the AWA) but I think he beat Hogan when The Hulk passed through Memphis. He talked about his match with Andre in his book. He beat Andre by count-out & it made the cover of Pro-Wrestling Illustrated, but it got Lawler in trouble with Vince McMahon Sr. because the headline read "The Night A Midget Beat the Giant".
