  • i have this growing in my son's carpet after a leaky pipe... very hard to get rid of! any suggestions?

  • "How cool is that !!"

The enthusiasm shown (1:16) for fungal matter growing in the passenger area of your truck is worth the price of a subscription.

  • thanks so much for posting this. i have them in my yard and had almost given up on figuring out what the heck it was!! thanks!

  • I like how you're excited about fungi growing in your car.

  • I Cant Believe Its Not Butter!

  • nicestein quote

  • "...and now I don't wanna clean it!" lol hilarious! And say hello to the giant slug for me. Plz! K thx.

  • spores are so tiny that they are invisible to the human eye, also many spores are deadly.

  • Isnt the interior of the car supposed to be dangerous considering the airborne spores that you might inhale?

  • Probably! :)

  • I thought Witches Butter is "Tremella mesenterica"

  • 1:24 a large gastropod makes a cameo appearance.

  • 1:13 big mac xD

  • love the quote at the end, is it your own??

    if so then......... genius!

  • Einstein said in de: "If a messy desk is the sign of an unkempt mind, then of what is an empty desk a sign?"

  • "If a messy car signs a messy mind, then of what is an empty car a sign?"

Mess is opposite of orangized. Mess can't be related to emptyness.

  • You can't have empty car. If you did, then you definatly got empty head. Empty car is just a steel cage. Why would you have a steel cage and call it a car? Then to throw in a engine just to support the fact of being a car, and prob wheels too but nothing more cuz then it would'nt be empty, would be a really dumb car.

  • So, in my opinion, the question is wrong question. Or more specific, it's incorrectly constructed. Mess is not empty, it's unorganized. And when you are unorganized, that's cuz your mind is over flowing with information. (or you lost care...)

But that's just my opinion! I just had to express myself!

  • I love your projects! Particularly the two counter rotating copper tube that levitates a magnet. For some reason, that looks to have alot of potentials in common applications. But I dont know...

Hope to see some more clips from you!

    :D

  • you can see the stink of mildue???

  • Chance favors the prepared mind.

  • by touching some type of mushrooms can be deadly. i found that the hardway.....massive head aches and sweat

  • big slug

  • are they as tasty as they look?

  • > are they as tasty as they look?

Book says "inedible." Morels, chantrelles, and boletes! :)

  • haha disgusting but cool at the same time. Amazing where these things can grow!

  • I thought I saw just a tiny bit of "smoke" at ~2:33 - just under your hand. It came toward the camera.

  • Those mazda B2200s never die.

  • cool vid ^_^ but wow i hope you replace your interior because you can't get mold out of foam seats!

  • \o/

  • Who goes out to their old truck ready to repair it and opens it to find fungus growing everywhere and is happy about it. This guy is AWESOME!

  • Haha, Indeed he is :)

  • Too bad none of them worked :(

  • That concludes the report from atop the high horse.

  • > Typical redneck trashy living styles.

Nah. Hippy tech-artist engineer where the workshop invades the whole house. The truck interior grew mushrooms because a large solar panel had punched a hole in the windshield. The hole had an interesting shape!

  • i think I want to be your friend

  • Only us Biologists find it this fasinating :) lol

  • I was about to say something about your messy car, till I read the end of the video, LMAO!

  • That is pretty interesting, I collect/research spores, fungus and molds so I found this video fascinating.

  • Is it green grass growing with that mushroom?

And i tought my car is messy... My family should see your vid...

  • if duct tape cant fix it, it aint broken

  • i smell ur breath frum here LOL

  • Care for some tea?

  • is there any way to replicate those conditions in a aquarium or container of some sort?

  • go to Google and type mushrooms then click videos. first video at the top is an indept complete guide to beginner home mycology!

Ps: tis not my video and i have nothing to do with it or illegal activity's the techniques described work for most fungus growth only thing that is required is finding the correct nutrient mix!and that depends on what you want to grow!Just google the fungus and udualy finding the right mix is easy enough!

  • Oh, and the toxin in the other asco's is monomethyl hydrazine, which has prompt effects. You may be thinking about amanitoxins, a basidomycete product which causes death in about one week.

  • I envy you. Rain and fungus. We are in a drought here in the midwest. Aleuria aurantia is indeed edible and delicious. The problem is that what you have does not apear to be A.aurantia. It is not orange enough, and A aurantia is pretty much restricted to bare wet ground. Also "witches butter" is a common name for two species of basidomycetes, tremmela mesenterica and dacrymyces palmatus. I have never heard it applied to A aurantia.

  • i'm guessing that stuff will make you very sick?

  • Who knows. Gotta check the mushroom guide. Most are just meh. Some ascomycetes contain hydrazine (and cause your liver to die a week later.) But gourmet morels are in the same family.

  • Wow, I'd never have known/thought any of that. Thanks man, love your youtube page, seriously very interesting stuff.

  • This video coincided with my mushroom omlet. Mmm...good.

  • I'd say you're a really neat guy to hang out with.

  • the best part about this is. Related>No Videos Found :-)

  • > the best part about this is. Related>No Videos Found :-)

Aww. I've changed the title now, to include the word "fungus"

  • Fun vid! beautiful mushrooms they are! You should leave the car like this, it could figure in a horror or murder scene. cheers, Jeroen.

  • Such fungis to ride with!

  • i liked that quote at the end, lol

  • > i liked that quote at the end, lol

The original Einstein quote used to justify messy academic offices everywhere is: "If a cluttered desk signs a cluttered mind, then of what is an empty desk a sign?"

  • Zen?
