@trainiac3 they probably shut down union station's normal traffic during the shooting of the movie scene where 261 comes in. After all, they're trying to replicate the 1920s and would you find it odd to see a 1970s diesel engine in a movie set in the 1920s?
why are those people standing in the middle of that other train track. say an amtrak or metra comes in the station.

i saw the engine too and i was in the yard and there was an extra tender for the engine.
