Typical Benny Joy stuff! And he ALWAYS somehow sounded best in this scaled down mood with just his own rhythm guitar and a dog house bass to give him some extra support! It's obvious where he got his inspiration from and it's a cryin' shame that he never made it big at all in the immortal '50s, which of course counts for the fact that he did his best stuff for the small Dixie label (a Starday sub), which sometime didn't even bother to put the artist's name on the label!!
