  • this is what's going to define Discovery!

  • ....

  • I hate how they change the narration for the US, but I love these documentaries.

  • You will still enjoy. No matter who is narrating.

  • Is this just being shown in the USA? You guys are in for a treat. Amazing program. Sir David at his best. Enjoy.

  • @bigbov Alec Baldwin is narrating the U.S. version

  • music anyone ??

  • This looks awesome! Another masterpeace so far I can see! But what more likely already mentioned, please start making videos in in HD sizes. Your viewers will sooner be gaining visual problems then getting to see your products for real like this.

  • Discovery, I am probably one of your biggest fans, but you HAVE to start uploading in HD asap..! 240p/360p is ancient !

  • beautiful

  • "watch it while you can"

  • imagine the world when this beauty will dissapear!

  • I loved this series.

  • I love it, can't wait to watch it!

  • Is this a sign that we are now recording amazing images as to show where no man has gone before and to conclude that what we want to maintain for prosterity is only captured on video for them to see?

  • God! What a wonderful World! the only bad thing is the man!

  • I see the difference in thumbs up and thumbs down for BBC productions vs. Discovery. Take a pointer there Discovery. :D

  • @huyked

    Okay, my apologies... it's a co-production.

  • Absolutely beautifully filmed. And that was amazing at 0:44 - 0:47.

  • This is so old.it ws aired in NZ in 2010

  • @singh2nv planet earth maybe but not frozen planet..

  • 0:20 - The moment I discovered that BBC is involved in this production....and then I read the description bar. The slow motion scenes is their mark. BBC makes amazing documentaries and this looks really promising.

  • 360p? did i go back in time?

  • What's the music playing?

  • I've watched this series on the BBC, and can honestly say it is EPIC!

  • Cool, this comes out on my birthday.

  • @shean325 mine too :)

  • The climate does change, all on it's own. Humans do have an impact on the environment. I believe that impact is limited compared to the shifts in temperature, wind, rainfall, seismic events, and ocean currents that nature changes on it's own. It's well known the Earth has been through dramatic climate shifts in it's history. To think that man is solely to blame for the global climate is arrogant and foolhardy. We as a human race are to be good stewards of the Earth, not worship it.

  • Wait, where are the rednecks?

  • @ASund3 rednecks are typically in the southeastern United States. they don't migrate this far north.

  • @Wolf78033 it funny cause it true

  • I heard that Discovery wasn't going to air the last part because of its reference to climate change. Hope that changes.

  • @ultrapirtle Natural or man made? |: /

  • yes!. i love watching this kinda shit while i'm high. esp. on the big flat screen HD. doesn't get any better. They need to come with that Planet Earth 2012 already.

  • why not 1080p ???

  • @TheDarkKnight03 i guess, becaouse they just uploaded it on utube, so jsut wait.. quality will get better soon....

  • this was already aired in Australia :L

  • Only thing missing - Full HD Quality!

  • This show went down a storm here in the UK.

  • thanks for sharing

  • I'll be watching this.

  • 2nd

  • awesome! now i can get high and watch this on my big screen

  • @illusion887 ayye, we both like the same thing. I didn't even see you wrote this until i wrote my comment. We're both basically saying the same thing. haha.
