  • Great video! I love hawkmoths and hornworms, too. I really hope to find some live specimens of this species--our largest sphingid--for captive rearing and breeding, then I can release a number of moths as well.

  • Is the Manduca rustica related to Acherontia Atropos? I know it's related somehow, but the markings on it's thorax look very similar!

  • @SamsReality Yes it is! A. atropos is a European sphinx moth.

  • Thanks so much for this video! I was looking to find what Manduca rustica larvae eat and you had the answer.
