It's a piece I've always loved too. It chilled me when I read it, but in a sad way rather than the creepy way you seem to have read it as.Though I def see where you're coming from. I have to confess to reading it aloud to myself from time to time too! Nicely done, m'dear, though obviously could have been improved by memorising it :D
