I've seen videos with huge mountains generating and all kinds of cool things, but when I use the mod it just makes stuff like usual, the only difference being the empty sky is much larger and oceans are deeper. I should note I'm using the non-recommended MC 1.0 version, so that might be why. Also I've seen people use far view, and I can't because it crashes Minecraft, no matter how much RAM I give it.

I say, old chaps (particularly Bertie), the true limit with this jolly mod is 65,504 metres, not 65,504 feet. There are approximately 3 feet to a jolly metre (each Minecraft block is one cubic metre in size, and your jolly player model is two blocks tall unless you use the Mini-Me modification).
