Dave Bunker is an amazing craftsman and it makes it all. I've been to his house and the sawmill is right there in the backyard along with an amazing mass of maple. It's fun to walk along the stacks of wood or the raw logs outside and listen to him talk. He knows trees alright. I have a friend who is a classical guitarist and when he heard me talk of this instrument he thought I was wasting my money. Then he saw it. Out of the 40 instruments or so that I own this was what blew him away!
Well, not really. It has a similar look to the Chapman stick in some ways, but the layout is really a standard guitar neck, but with room for your fingers! Watch how he plays it and you'll see.
I think that back wood panel does look better in person. It is a departure in some ways from the rest of the wood work, but as a back panel I think that is fine. Dave Bunker, the inventor, can play this remarkably well. It would also be fun to hear others who have far better guitar chops than I do, play this.
Wow, that's really unusual. I can see that one neck is a bass with two pickups, but I don't quite get how the other neck functions. Six guitar strings, apparently, on an extra wide neck, but is that a cover over where the pickups, bridge, and strumming area would be? Is the guitar part meant to be played like a lap steel?
Hi Junkdraws. I am lucky to get this. My instrument money, all from a small inheritance, is just about gone! Be sure to check out Dave Bunker's videos on youtube. Just search his name along with TOUCH GUITAR. You'll then see answers to all your questions. A video explains it the best. He's a very clever guy.
The cover on the guitar neck is there so you don't have to keep your right arm floating over the strings. You just rest it there and play comfortably. To see what's behind the cover, search "how your Touch Guitar works" here in you tube.
ROFL! Still going out of their way 2 make them as ugly as possible. OMG! =))

@sidecars Stating obvious, verifiable facts is not trolling. All U R doing is a 'kill-the-messenger' dance. Everything I say is correct & U know it.
