i used to watch this program all the time, but haven't seen it in SO long. it's nice to see TLC showing a natural, unmedicated birth; and especially nice to see TLC showing a birth at home. i think a large portion of this country has no idea that there are other options for birthing besides the standard doctor/hospital/epidural route. it's so good to see another view of birth and to show people that "normal" people do it this way, too, not just those considered super liberal or on the fringe
