  • I can only play the double :( but amazin dude well playd

  • Very nice - not 100 % perfect, but who could or would expect that for a piece that is seemingly so easy yet so hard to get right in terms of dynamics and timbre. And concerning those, I really like your interpretation - the agogic as well.

I would love to hear your interpretation of the Gigue from BWV 996 - IMHO one of the hardest pieces from Bach. Oh, while you're at it - how about a recordings of Castelnuovo-Tedesco's Cappricio Diabolico and Rodrigo's Invocation y Danza? :)

  • @DumblyDorr Thanks! If you look through my videos you'll find Bouree and Gigue bwv996 and the passagio and presto in a separate vid. I'm also currently learning Cap Diabolico so should put up a vid soon. No intention to learn Invocacion at this stage. I need to work on my tremolo before I tackle that.

  • bravo!

  • Really good. Your gliss' is amazing.

  • my favorite piece from the lute suites :)

  • Nice,

    Sounds like Frank Koonce's edition

  • Jerry Willard

  • Yup - I noticed the arrangement of double is quite different

  • Very beautiful with clear voices!

I like Bach but it is really hard to play Bach flawless like you ! Great, my friend!

    best regards,

    wolfgang

  • just amazing

  • where can i get the sheet music for this?

  • a music store?

  • this version is really good, the start is great

  • I love this piece, you play it whit such emotions. I love it.

Im a musician to, but a singer, I would like to at the least learn the basics of guitar, because i love the sound that it makes, but music school is very hard and i dont have time :(..

  • Impressive! I've been a Rock player for almost a decade, and I'm always stunned by the greats of "my" genre. But watching players like you performing pieces like this is breathtaking; the dynamics, the timing, the flowing fingerpicking. Everything just fits so precisely. So different from playing some Deep Purple on a Strat and an overdriven amp!

I'm really impressed. Shamefully I'm ignorant about classical guitar. But if it's worth anything, congratulations! Your playing is truly inspiring.

  • Thanks! If you like classical but don't know much check out these players: Andres Segovia, John Williams, Julian Bream, Pavel Steidl. They all have videos on youtube.

  • @craigalake Yep Andres Segovia inspired me to stop playing metal and take it up a notch :) Truly amazing musicians they are.

  • Youre an incredible player! im doing this piece for my grade 8 and you inspire me

  • Thanks! Good luck with the exam.

  • im a pretty competent guitar player, but im relatively new to classical guitar...

what would be a good piece for me to start with?

  • Classical... sorry, can't think. What style did you play before?

  • blues, alt country, jazz... a bit of everything

  • I'd try something at about Grade 6.

If you've already got the basics of guitar... Still, Classical is very different to other styles. Can you read music?

  • Nice!! Looking forward to more bach from you.

  • I like your playing

  • Absolutely amazing. I'll have to study up on this video. You did a great job and thanks again for the information.

  • Thanks! Your welcome.

  • watch the chris broderick ver of this

  • Yes, I have, and...?

  • i thought it was pretty good

  • He's a great metal player but his classical is pretty rough. Not my taste. All he does is play the notes and the video stops before the difficult bit (4:15 onwards on my vid) which makes me wonder.

  • craigalake - Your playing is full of expression, and is musically superior in every way.

  • Thanks. I'm glad you like it.

  • Awesome! I like your playing.

    Very clear and emotional.

Your trills are also well played.

    Keep it up.

  • Ditto.

  • Great !!!

    Good playing

  • Love your playing. :]

  • this piece is amazing, and i really enjoyed your playing.

  • What can i say?! I've seen the previous one with the same masterpieces. You're doing really well and i think you're absolutely talented! No doubt about that... :)
