Very nice - not 100 % perfect, but who could or would expect that for a piece that is seemingly so easy yet so hard to get right in terms of dynamics and timbre. And concerning those, I really like your interpretation - the agogic as well.
I would love to hear your interpretation of the Gigue from BWV 996 - IMHO one of the hardest pieces from Bach. Oh, while you're at it - how about a recordings of Castelnuovo-Tedesco's Cappricio Diabolico and Rodrigo's Invocation y Danza? :)
@DumblyDorr Thanks! If you look through my videos you'll find Bouree and Gigue bwv996 and the passagio and presto in a separate vid. I'm also currently learning Cap Diabolico so should put up a vid soon. No intention to learn Invocacion at this stage. I need to work on my tremolo before I tackle that.
I love this piece, you play it whit such emotions. I love it.
Im a musician to, but a singer, I would like to at the least learn the basics of guitar, because i love the sound that it makes, but music school is very hard and i dont have time :(..
Impressive! I've been a Rock player for almost a decade, and I'm always stunned by the greats of "my" genre. But watching players like you performing pieces like this is breathtaking; the dynamics, the timing, the flowing fingerpicking. Everything just fits so precisely. So different from playing some Deep Purple on a Strat and an overdriven amp!
I'm really impressed. Shamefully I'm ignorant about classical guitar. But if it's worth anything, congratulations! Your playing is truly inspiring.
Thanks! If you like classical but don't know much check out these players: Andres Segovia, John Williams, Julian Bream, Pavel Steidl. They all have videos on youtube.
He's a great metal player but his classical is pretty rough. Not my taste. All he does is play the notes and the video stops before the difficult bit (4:15 onwards on my vid) which makes me wonder.
What can i say?! I've seen the previous one with the same masterpieces. You're doing really well and i think you're absolutely talented! No doubt about that... :)
I can only play the double :( but amazin dude well playd

im a pretty competent guitar player, but im relatively new to classical guitar...
what would be a good piece for me to start with?
birdiejoehoaks 3 years ago
Classical... sorry, can't think. What style did you play before?
Vivace214 3 years ago
blues, alt country, jazz... a bit of everything
birdiejoehoaks 3 years ago
I'd try something at about Grade 6.
If you've already got the basics of guitar... Still, Classical is very different to other styles. Can you read music?
