Everyone, I've played every Splinter Cell game at least three times except for Conviction since its not out yet. This is Chaos Theory, there is a level where your going down and escalator, there are guards armed with sticky shockers. If same gets caught and hit with one of the shockers, this is what happenes. The original Splinter Cell ended with him killing Kombayne Nikoladze, Pandora Tomorrow, he kills some dude in an airport. This is Chaos Theory, Double Agent he kills Emile.

I love the first three. Have not played past Chaos Theory. Conviction looks disappointing to me. Sam is too godlike. Some of his moves look like he's spider-man or something. The gameplay looks amazing, granted, but I lose interest quick when Sam Fisher is turned into a super hero. He should be elite, no question, but not stretching plausibility which Conviction clearly does. Long Live Chaos Theory.

Conviction is going to be badass when it comes out, I love the gameplay. All of the games were good but Chaos Theory was the best. Sam Fisher getting tortured, now that's more of a turn on than the scene in MGS. I'd torture him my damn self.

I agree with Chaos Theory being the best by far. I purchased both versions of Double Agent because I was aware they are different. The 360 version was too simple in my opinion. If you hid in a decent dark area, you were considered hidden. I preferred the original Xbox version. It maintained the same elements of CT and the story made more sense with how they put Sam in prison and how his NSA weapons got into the JBA. Sorry for the essay

Actually conviction will have alot of the same mechanics but with less emphasis on light and dark elements. You'll still be able to crouch, sneak up behind guards etc it'll just be harder to do and you'll be able to adapt and use the environment as a weapon if you have to or chose to.
