why dont you drive the chevy? that probbly gets better gas mileage than the Rousch. the 5.3 is a pretty good mileage motor normally. We have a navigator with the 32 valve 5.4 and it needs premium fuel which negates all gas mileage advantages.

Get a toyota camry, it's great on gas and roomy I use to go to college in charleston but I stayed in sumter I drove my Nissan Titan V8 back and forth every other day and let my wife use the camry well when gas started goin up I got another camry and let's just say it was worth it the savings in gas paid for the car

Wings...As a person who works in collision repair...Stay away from Navigators...It's a nice SUV, but when something goes wrong with them, it's going to cost you a TON of money to repair just beause it is a luxury vehicle even though it's just a rebadged Ford. And if gas mileage is a concern, your F150 probably gets just as good mileage as that Navigator.

You're better off with a small SUV if you want comfort and economy.

@prowler10393 definitely agreed. But to be perfectly honest, if you're only going to have a maximum of 3 people needing a ride, why get an SUV or even a crossover? TBH, just go with something like a Nissan Versa, a Ford Fiesta, or if you want AWD, Subaru Impreza or even an Outback. Alot of used imprezas can get well below 20k, good amount below 15k, and i've seen a few under 12k. Having sat in an impreza, thats probably your best bet if you want a nice used car.

@AlexB120 A lot of the US is very rural actually, so a 4x4 truck is needed for the terrain and weather. Plus, a truck is a part of a lot of peoples jobs, its very useful compared to a small sedan. But if you live in a metropolitan area a smaller car is the best choice
