Yeah the needler finally is useful and it was wise for Bungie to make it powerful and not dual-wiedable cause you would be unstoppable with it. Spartan Laser sucks, its too easy to dodge and only useful against Banchees and ground vehicles.

The Spartan Laser certainly has its drawbacks, but come on. It's like a bigass sniper rifle that works on vehicles AND players. Of course it has to be balanced.

I'm certain people who specialize with other long-range weapons will put it to good use. All you need to do is catch someone during a moment of distraction (not the hardest thing in the world) and -BAM-.

Not entirely true. Even though i am not good with it, I still like using it. Its sniper-like laser can take out vehicles quickly, unlike the slow Missle Pod and the no-more-lock-on Rocket Laucher.
