  • Very disappointed that I didn't get to see Bruce and the Sessions Band. Terrific music!

  • Conan is too big of a "star" to do this now. That was the great thing about Late Night. Everybody knew him but the show always had a sense that he was under the radar. Now he knows how popular he actually is. After the whole Tonight Show debacle, he has become too much of a "celebrity" and just overall acts differently. Not saying its a bad thing, just something that seems true. I feel like Conan isn't as able to not hog the spotlight as he used to be. He's almost a caricature of this guy now.

  • HAHA Fallon and Thomas Haden Church!

  • 1 person doesn't know jack shit about good music and good times.

  • jimmy fallon on spoons

  • A wild Thomas Haden Church appears!

  • totally fucking awsom

  • Amazing performance! :)

  • this is a great glimpse at the BOSS. thanks!!!

  • EEEEEEEEEEEEUUUUUUUUUU

  • Who's Mr. Crazy-sweaty-pissed-off Brown Suit?

  • @tubedoc16 Actor Thomas Haden Church. He had been interviewed by Conan earlier in the show, as well as Jimmy Fallon.

  • Been a huge Springsteen years, and have never seen this video. Thanks for posting this, it shows a little glimpse of what someone can expect at a Springsteen concert. Just awesome, and fun.

  • Always a great rendition...and if you don't think this may become our National Anthem for Wall Street...come visit my featured channel offering. Cordially, John

  • Not one dislike!

  • This was on Conan's show years ago. It was GREAT--lots of artists showed up for this. Jimmy Fallon jumping in and playing the spoons was hilarious! I've been looking for this clip for YEARS! Thanks for posting.

  • what was the excuse for that incredible show? what special was it?

  • @beitarist20 It wasn't a special. Springsteen had borrowed La Bamba and Pender from the Max Weinberg 7 for his Seeger Sessions sideline project, so he brought the Seeger Sessions Band onto the show as a way of saying thank you. Similar to when he'd turn up every so often for a sing-a-long when he was running away with Max on world tours.

  • wow..conan is a very tall dude.

  • @ryanjack111 hes 6`7 Ft

  • Bruce Springsteen's music could KO Chuck Norris.

  • I actually saw this when it was on TV. I've been looking for the video ever since. GREAT GREAT music. Max and his band (of course he is the drummer for the "E-Street band and Springstien). So So much talent on one stage..... Conan not too shabby on the gutair.....

  • 5 repeatedly for 'IN THE NIGHTY'.

    2 repeatedly for scream.

3 repeatedly for sax head banging.

    7 repeatedly for funniness.

8 repeatedly for funny heads and legs.

9 repeatedly for funny Bruce mouth.

  • I love you Bruce!

  • One of my favorite Songs! I wish i could make music with such a great band :)

  • awesome! the boss rules!

  • I'd rather watch this at EVERY Superbowl. Much better than the Black Eyes Peas.

  • New religion BRUCESIZM!

  • Conan looked like he loved every single second of that.

  • Was that Jimmy Fallon on spoons?

  • @whatistheretotype yes it was :P

  • @hellahotdude definitely not... the audio is just a little off

  • That stage must have been crazy hot, but I bet it was worth it

  • Is it even possible to hear this song and not have fun.

  • JUST.. the definition of FUN !!!! whatever problems you have, watching this will make you feel better...

  • Just another reason to love Conan...

  • Such a happy performance!

  • Joyous!

  • I think this is what Coco's attorneys were singing to Jeff Zucker.

  • he should be called 'The Snitch' lol the audience there are lucky

  • two of my biggest heroes together, what a joy ! Coco & The Boss rule !!

  • Yes!! It was nice that "Lloyd" from "Wings" gave Bruce a spotlight to showcase himself..lol

  • you know, there is a reason he's called "The Boss"

  • WOW!!

  • I Was Feelin The Love Just Watching This :) Love Me Some Bruce, And Conan Isn't Bad Either ;)

  • BOSS TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Is that Jimmy Fallon at 5:56?

  • @Pitino4Pres Very late reply, but yes, it is.

  • Is that Jimmy Fallon at 5:56?

  • I am a HUGE BOSS fan. I grew up listening to his music and thinking that it described my life perfectly.

Then I paid $125 to attend a concert only to hear him w/ nothing but a guitar as he went on one political diatribe after another about how bad Bush and war are.

(Really? War is bad? I had no idea, having served in combat only twice.)

From now on I'll just make sure the event is Bruce AND THE E-STREET BAND.

  • When did he become "Douche Springsteen"?

  • @ChuckSnow5 Seriously, we were LOCKED into the Fleet Center in Boston and ALL concessions were stopped 15 minutes before the show. (Bruce's orders according to the concession people.)

Honestly, after 45 minutes I felt like I was at a Nuremburg Rally if it were organised and funded by American Democrats.

  • @ChuckSnow5 That's KEY: Bruce Springsteen AND THE E-STREET BAND.

Otherwise you're in for a political re-education camp.

  • i love how bruce combines country & western music with r&b & jazz music

  • it's great to see and hear such a big band playing such upbeat sounds instead of disco electronic mindless, lifeless "music." Thanks!

  • Looking for this for along time thanks man

  • Conan O'Brien is the tall indentured servant of the bunch.

  • SPRINGSTEEN IS GOD!...oh, and Conan aint too shabby either! :)

  • @ElenaRN1 You must be VERY young.

    CLAPTON is God.

Bruce is a Saint. (If yet.)

  • Pure magic.Incredible moments.

  • Going to have to find the tabs to this. If O'Brien can play it with maybe two chords, so can I. I don't get Fallon with the spoons... with the full E-St. Band if full howl, nobody can hear him no matter how amped. I wonder if you could stick a magnetic pickup on spoons?

  • Didn't there used to be a vid of Bruce performing "Kitty's Back" on Conan's show? If so, I can't find it anywhere.

  • EPIC!!!

  • gotta love what Jimmy Fallon and the spoons!

What steals it though is Thomas Haden Church looking really angry playing the egg percussion lol

    Love it!

  • For my money this is the finest musical moment in the history of Conan O'Brien's late-night show. What a collection of talent on one stage, and what a tribute to the living legend Pete Seeger.

  • @andyinoregon i hear you there! the talent was awesome

  • @andyinoregon for my money this is the finest moment in the history of the world!

  • @TheNemesis1365 Yessiree, and at 8:25 it's still too damn short!
