  • You should know that your wife is ALWAYS right! LOL

    Just amazing!!!

  • @dimekman777

She often reminds me of this "fact".

  • Great song irishbear76. Thanks for all of your encouragement. God Bless

  • @UAH1990

    Thank you.

I appreciate that you like the song.

It is important to me because I am speaking of the human condition.

We are imperfect flesh which encompasses the perfect soul which is a reflection of God.

Somehow we forgot the power we have over death, sin, weakness.

    YHWH is our strength.

  • Hello Mark, my wife is due to have the CCSVI procedure in the next couple of months here in Scotland. We have been very encouraged and inspired by your Videos. Thank you. Absolutely love the song mate!

Keep us updated, Andy and Carron from Lossiemouth in Scotland.

  • @andy7peacock

    Andy.

You keep me updated on how Carron is doing.

I wonder what the allusion to proudcocks is with your name?

I like stories about usernames btw.

Man, I have felt great since getting treated for CCSVI.

I sure hope your gets the miraculous healing I have experienced.

    Blessings,

    Mark

p.s. I am a proud member of clan Scott.

  • @irishbear76

thanks my user name just happens 2 be my real name LOL and the 7 is is just a Random thing. we will keep in touch about my wife.

  • @andy7peacock

    Thank you Andy.

Give Carron a hug for me.

  • @andy7peacock

Also, have you ever heard of Charlie Peacock?

He is a Christian artist I enjoy.

  • @irishbear76 i love his music

  • @andy7peacock

    ANDY,

7 is the number of God.

I do not think it is random at all :)

  • @andy7peacock

    I mean your wife.

  • :) :) :) Always enjoy what you do Mark. I listened to this the other day and just couldn't comment. Wanted to come back and listen a few times to let it get in. Yeah, a very penetrating lyric and I LOVE to harmonise with you. So does that mean your album is all recorded now??? x

  • @kezzcass

    Kerri,

So funny that you mention harmonizing with me.

The vocal on the "We are one love. ONe" part is ACTUALLY the backing vocal.

YOu very well could have been singing one of the harmonies that will be on the recorded version.

I do believe all the songs for the LP are done now. (There are so MANY now)

I have not posted half of them.

My bandmate, VInce, has not been feeling very well for awhile

I give the album a late winter/ early spring release.

    That's summer/fall for you.

  • Ah yes, another fine example of “right up Gav’s street” kinda music.

    Very nicely done sir!

  • @gavooon

    Thank you.

Scotsmen do happen to have impeccable taste and a discerning palate.

  • I do see the influence of Thom Yorke-great effort.

  • @onthemoveagain

    A fun exercise.

If you sing along with the "John" voice it fits nicely with the "Paul" backing vocals on the outtro.

Yorke definitely has influenced me, but you will hear as much Beatles influence as any the more of my songs you listen to.

    Blessings,

    Mark

p.s. I like to think I am original. The thing about Radiohead that I liked from the beginning is the first time I heard them, I thought "Damn, that sounds like something I would write"

  • This is moving Mark. Love lyrics with a strong message. Your also an excellent guitarist. Havent picked up my guitar for years. Was classically trained yrs ago.

    Rick.

  • @rickileeway

    Thanks.

I am self taught. I took a handful of lessons as a young kid, but basically just wanted to jam with my teacher.

He told my dad that I didn't need lessons and should take an advanced class.

That sounded boring so I just developed my own style.

Glad I did that. I am not limited by "music theory"

I just find the sound I like.

    Nice comment btw.

    I am touched,

    Mark

  • @irishbear76 I agree about musical creativity being limited by formal training Mark. The Beatles are a good example of this. Keep your individuality & writing great songs.

  • @rickileeway

    I am a Beatles FREAK.

  • I Like it Mark! Good Job!

  • @Theredwine069

    Thanks.

    I like this one.

  • Beautiful; poignant and so true - hits me right *there* Excellent job Mark :o) x

  • @jaydee1508

    Thanks.

    It hits me there too.

  • awesome bro.. very touching..

  • @omexmc80

    Thank you bro,

I am most proud of this one.

    Mark

  • wow very nice. Great job.

  • @christinedavi

    Thank you very much, Christing.

    Blessings,

    Mark

  • @christinedavi

    Christine. :P

  • Nice one Mark :-)

I wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment x

Could sound good on sitar, with a choir...

  • @lovingfatalist

    Thanks, Toby.

It does not surprise me that you agree with the gist of this song.

You have a flair for the philosophical :)

Oddly enough, Vince plays the sitar!

I thought about the end being an anthem. It is hard to do a one man anthem.

I have the idea of a children's choir on the fade out.

    Still working this one out.

    Thanks for the listen, mate

    M

  • Very powerful words in this song and so true of life......Love when you share your music with your MS family........you are a genuine guy............

  • @auntoni51

    Thanks, Ione.

This song touches me for some reason.

The message is needed in these times.

Love. (Yes, it is that simple).
