@pjeaton58 P J E, You seem to have discovered an unfortunate aspect of the variety of English I speak that is sadly emphasized by the topic of the video. The only other real alternative available to me is the flapped t, which I think sounds even worse in that situation. Putting in a full /t/ would sound odd to me as a speaker of Inland Northern American English.

I actually found this extremely interesting. I am just starting to take latin in HS now. It is very tricky though XD.
