  • EU QUERO UM PEDAÇO DESSA CARNE. HUM!!!!

E DA PRÓXIMA VEZ QUE FOR CAÇAR QUERO IR JUNTO.

  • The 7mm is an awesome rifle but if you really want a super rifle get that 7mm Remington Ultra Mag . This rifle drops deer, elk, moose or anything else . I know the 300 is a great gun but I wouldn't take a 300 over my 7 RUM ever .

  • Érdekesen zsigerelnek az amcsik.

  • I own a 7MAG and it is a flat shooter its great for Moose and Caribou.

some of my shots were out to 500 yards. I was lucky the Caribou stoped and shook off the water they were down in one second.

  • anybody else think he looks like Eric Chuch

  • @MrGjordin Thats kule of you to say...I like that song he does called "Guys Like Me"

  • you guys must know how lucky you are, here in Holland the only thing you can hunt is wild hogs and that is limited to firearms. I wanna go sometime to north america with my bow and revolver and have a good time in the nature. Nature isnt something everybody has, so enjoy it! (good video btw)

  • lmmfao at 7:25

  • sweet video! I shoot the 7mm rem mag its nice,

join the cssa and nfa today!

  • I have a 7MAG built as a tactical rifle, it has a Broughton Barrel, A5 stock and a Burris 8x34 Scope it shoots like a lazor.. When I brought it to Quebec for Caribou I planed it as a Backup, but the guys who were leaving said they saw some real bag trophy bulls over 400yards. THATS! when I pulled out my 7MAG..I made two damn nice shots at 470 and 320yards. the Bou dropped.

  • 7mm is in my mind the best deer hunting gun ever !!!

  • just one question, wheres the hunt? the title says there is a hunt, all i saw was you skinning it.

  • whats better the 7mm remington magnum or the 300 wsm?

  • @Specialized1993

Thats a tough one and I think the simple answer is to each there own.

The 7mm does have some great flight characteristics...and you can shoot bullets ranging from 120 grains and up. I think if I were in big Grizzly country I might want the 300 mag with a big grain bullet.

Three guys in my group shoot 300 mag and swear by it and on the other hand we have another three guys in my hunting group who swear by their 7mm's.

I think it is a personal preference. I like both.

  • so is 7mm mag. really that strong and accurate

  • @y2jshit

    pretty much yep.

There are more powerful guns...but for mid sized big game like Deer...it is one of the best choices from what most hunters have told me.

It shoots flat which is always a good thing as many people miss or have bad shot placement due to the arc of their bullet trajectory.

My Uncle has a reworked 308 featherweight into a 7MM Mag and it can shoot accurate to over a thousand yards in competition.

  • @anavidhunter pfft a 7mm can take a grizzly easy it is not just deer

  • @excalibercrossbows you bet, I know of Griz down by .284 (7mm).

    They are awesome.

Though if I were to state more truth to the matter....I'd like a 475 Magnum if I had a Grizzly seriously trying to take me down. I don't even own a magnum yet.

I hunt Moose and Griz country with a 30-06 or my bow LOL.

It has more to do with ammunition choices. It comes down to if you are hunting it or is it huntin you...if its goin for you, you can't always make the drop kill shot so "you want big gun" LOL

  • @anavidhunter just wait for some hippy to come on the video and complain about hunting. but lol i the first time i ever shot a 7mag it knocked me on my ass

  • @y2jshit it is powerfull accuracy its up to you....

  • @y2jshit you ass fucking shit a 300 mag. is a lot stronger then a 7MM mag

  • Lol, I know what you guys are talking about. Although I use a 30-06 to shoot deer and it works great, my dad shoots a .338 win mag and when you put a good shot on it, it doesn't do much more damage than my 30-06

  • yeah man 7mm's rock!

  • (I like this topic! =) )

For 400 yards it's great. It beats my 3030!

You're right, it's all about preference.

Although, I like getting close, it's against

my strategy to shoot that far. Too easy, the animals can't detect you as well, lowering the need to be extra stealthy and etc etc. That's why I vow hunt, too. It's all preference though, like you said; take care, and God Bless.

  • If you are shooting further than 400 yards it is a good choice...I know of 120 grain 7mm Mag shooting accurately at 1000 yards.

I have shot with a Parker Hale 22-250 at 460 yards...I usually don't shoot near that far though.

I'd like a big mag for the big north hunts though...Griz come in camp for our Moose...most don't bother you...but a mag would be a smart safe gun to have if need be, and a 7mm is one of the best at str8 and long.

I like to get close to the game though, and video if I can.

  • I use a little 30-30 and it drops where it stands at short to long ranges. I've seen someone shoot a 7mm into a buck at 28 yards and there was a hole in it the size of a hugo McDonalds cup. Maybe it's not overkill with a small grain bullet, otherwise...for a deer...yes it is. Not for Brown Bear though...

  • There is nothing wrong with using a 30-30 over a 7mm mag or many other choices. In actual fact it has much less to do with calibre and grain than the often more important shape and design of the bullet.

I have blown huge holes and made small ones with big and small guns and I also shoot a 30-30 which is a larger calibre than the 7mm mag.

Usually the bullet choice is the culprit for the loss of meat or destruction of the quarry.

I like that you pay attention to this!

    Happy trails!

  • Likewise! God Bless.

  • Damn youtube police! Good video even without the sound!

  • C'mon man. 7mm Magnum. Overkill.

    Great video, though; 5/5

  • just today i bought a model 770 Remington 7mm Rem. Mag i havent shot it yet but im itchin to. shells are so expensive

  • Very nice, congrats...thats an really good rifle.

Both my Uncle and his oldest son use the 7mm Mag and they love it...it shoots flat and far...good shooting with your new rifle!

  • I have never been Mulie hunting but I would sure like to do that sometime it would be sure fun i know.......congrats.....

  • Oh I'm sure you'd love Muley hunting. They are an awesome and majestic animal.

I may be a bit bias...but I think Mule Deer are the best tasting too. Although they are like many other things...they are what they eat and so they can taste different depending on the deer.

Mule Deer sure can get pretty big!

    Hey and thanks too eh!

  • Nice video. I can't wait to go out Mule Deer hunting next year. I just went for Whitetail Deer this year. I wish I had a Muley tag as well though...saw some monsters this year.

  • Thanks and Oh man, I know what you mean...I can hardly wait to go next year too.

    Muleies are so awesome.

Where did you go for Whitetails?

Where we go Mule Deer shut down earlier than Whitetails.

  • I usually go Whitetail hunting in the Rosetown-Harris-Outlook, SK areas. I like to go down to the Sask Landing, SK area for Mule Deer.

  • No wonder you seen monster Mulies.

    There are some tanks there.

They are a draw aren't they?

  • wow looks exactly like the one i got!!

  • Cool, and congrats!

  • thanks!! it was my first buck too!

  • Right on, thats awesome...what a first buck eh! A Mule Deer...that is so cool. I love Mule Deer, they look so majestic and are truly magnificent creatures...not to mention that they taste great.

    Well, congrats again...thats sweet!

  • yea thanks well it was sort of a mule deer mixed whit blacktale deer! i could tell because of the short snout and not very big ears like mullies in california have!

    yea deer meat....... the BEST!!!

  • in 98 we went private island/provincial park hunting for fallow deer...that was the best tasting deer meat I'd had before, until a few years back and my best friend shot his 1st Muley...that deer is still a contender for the best eating meat I've ate from anything. Mule Deer are great.

Cool how yours was a mix. I've seen Muleys with Whitetail and Whitetails with Muley and Muleies with blacktail but not a mix of all three...thats pretty cool man. What did the tail look like...a Mule Deer I bet.

  • Great video.

  • Awesome, thats great that you enjoyed it.

  • Nice job, guys. Love huntin' those muleys! Keeep the videos comin' - I enjoy your hunts on cold winter days when I can't get out myself! :)

  • Muleys are so majestic and awesome...I love hunting them or just seeing em even.

Thank you and I'm glad that you love hunting them and especially that you enjoy the vids.

Thats how I got into makin them...watchin others and there wasn't enough years back now.

So I started to pitch in a few and now I am right into it.

Good adventures to you and thanks.

  • GOOD STUFF GREAT WORK

  • Thanks, I aim to enjoy my time outdoors...and the vids are an integral piece of enjoying the good times...good you enjoyed it too.

  • being in the outdoors with close family and friends sure makes it that much better.how have you done in the kootneys, i have seen some vids but just curious, some family lives out there and thought i could disguise a hunt with a visit. congrats on the velvet horn by the way.

  • I thought I answered this already...maybe I did and it malfunctioned...or maybe I read it and they were doin maintainance and I couldn't and just got back now?

Anyway...Kootenays is well worth your time...probably the best odds of harvest out of anywhere I can think of...Mule, Whitetail, Elk, Turkey, Grouse all at the same time...you can come home with an alternate quite easily if you want.

You are so on about the family and friends...nature is far to great to not share the excitement and good

  • Yes, he is pretty decent for spread. I would have loved to see them bedded down and get them on film as they got up to take off.

There were two of them there...the other a lil bigger he said.

  • awesome, i'm from the okanagan valley it is a great place to call home. i have seen all your vids several times over. very pleased to see someone who loves hunting and makes vids with respect to the animals and all nature. i would love to hunt with someone like that every year. keep it up man those vids are nice. every animal is a trophy even those on film left to walk away.

  • Thats great of you to say, thanks.

So do you put in for draws around there or elsewhere...or do you even put in for draws?

The Okanogan is awesome...so much to see and do...hard to pick which thing or place to go!

You seem pretty cool...I totally try to honor the adventure and enjoy and respect the memories of each encounter and excursion.

I truly think the ones that walk...are some of the best hunts ever.

  • yeah i got a mulie doe draw in region 8 (a gimmie) and my buddy got an any bull moose in region 8 as well. i had a chance a 4 point mule deer but he was running and i never shot, too risky. we saw 2 bulls but he never took one, oh well next year! we saw lots of deer, i even saw my first bobcat.....very cool cat. sort of a rookie but i will keep on going i love the outdoors. you keep those vids coming though. still not sure how you can film and be that stealth and shoot all at the same time

  • Awesome, I've seen some nice bulls in 8.

I filmed and walked right up to one while Muley hunting a few years back.

Man do I love those Mule Deer...they are so Awesome *****

Thats cool, I've let lots go that others would of took a crack at and only some may have got while many would have injured or missed. I have shot Deer and Bear that I've let go several times over periods of a couple of months.

You sound like you are gonna do awesome out there...the outdoors is incredible and Rewarding : )

  • giant. how long does the meat last? 5* of course

  • If it is wrapped up very good, it can survive and be fine in the freezer for ages. We once cooked up a Deer roast that was six years old in the freezer...that was before I hunted...and was aloud to take meat from the harvests of my Unlce and the boys.

If a bit of freezer burn happens...I just cut it off and it is like brand new inside!

Usually most of each year gets eaten up within that year...I give away lots to others who love it but don't hunt or can't : )

  • lots of lean good meat. yummy.

  • You got that right...Mule Deer Venison is delicious.

  • Nice buck there! Always like to see a success story. Steak and eggs in the morning for breakfast...lucky man my friend...

  • Sweet Denise, thats kule of you to say.

My Uncle had steak and eggs for breakfast almost every day on that trip ahaha lol.

    Thanks eh!

  • awesome vid 5 stars..how do you get so much time off work to hunt and travel to canada

  • Kewl, thank you!

I get fired a lot ahaha LOL.

Na, seriously though...this is a slow year, I only went on less than two months of trips so far.

    I live in Western Canada.

  • That is some good eating.

  • You bet, it sure is.

I think that Mule Deer is among the best eating there is!

Thanks and good adventures to yah.

  • nice buck.

  • Thanks there!

  • Jese I shouldn't have used my tags so soon! I just have my elk tag left and since i don't have a shotgun can't use my upland bird tag. Hopefully I'll get a Nice bull. I am loving the deer steaks!

  • I know that feeling...I have used more tags than I expected already. Still have lots to hunt though.

    Good luck and congrats too.

Hope you get a Awesome Bull!

  • Thanks man.

    SLÁINTE, FROM EIRE

  • Well, thank you very much.

Yes, this season has been pretty good so far.

  • Dang, you guys are going to have to get another freezer!!

  • Oh, we got many freezers ahaha...One year we got 5 Deer, 3 Moose, and an Elk all at once in a month and let me tell you we had to get more freezer space...well right now I have one and bit filled just with my own share...blacktail, whitetail, mule deer, elk, and moose...nice cache for sure.

    Happy adventures to you.

Thankyah and good hunting to you.

  • Nice buck!!

  • Thanks and Yep, he is a goodin. I'd be happy to see more like him. I videoed some Mulies while I was up Mt. Goat hunting...but I can't get the footage from the camera right now? maybe later hopefully...one had blood all on his antlers cuz he rubbed his velvet off the others had velvet antlers.

  • Cool! Can't wait to watch that when its up

  • Me too...ahaha lol

I just wish I could get at it right now.

I got to 76 yards of them with my bow the night before rifle season opened. Then a few days later I fluked into them way up in the mountains a couple of ridges over and way up higher and got to 23 yards with my rifle...with the bow its anysize buck...with the rifle its 4 points up top on at least one side...so I just did the video and went Goat hunting.
