@1overthehillsfaraway Morello is good because he puts emotion into his stuff. Yes its talent when you can sweep at 1000000000 notes a second, but there isnt nearly as much passion in it as some of the riffs written. By people like Morello. Where their hearts are in what they do. When music is that fast its really just like math.

Definitely. Fast guitar playing is a skill the same way holding your breath underwater is a skill. You practice it, you get better. Morello is incredibly skillful.
