Zak's definitely been the Who's best post-Moon drummer, but here I find he's overly simplifying the part so much at times that it really kills the feel (like when he keeps time during what is usually spaces or just a big mess of drumming thunder)
he sounds like a croaking old fossil...he does..i say it like it is...and this band backing them sucks...zach starkey blows...go watch the who clip playing this in 1989...with simon phillips on drums..its amazing..i was there and it was incredible..this on the other hand blows..just like u my little ignorant nigger
you are in denial...you must be an old prick too....i bet your nutsack is calcified too..ya old cunt....see ya gramps...dont forget to take your teeth out before going to bed you limp noodle...
@MOSKII58 I don't know, it sounds like another song transits into AJ, but the way he normally plays it towards the end, not the beginning - get what I mean?
Re the hands...I think they are 'signing' the lyrics. Being as Tommy was deaf, dumb and blind. Though I don't know sign language, I think that's it. Though if I'm wrong, I'm happy for someone to correct me.
I was there one of the best concerts i have been too, This version of Amazing Journey/Sparks is up there with Boston 2002 a very powerful version Pete is awesome on Guitar

Love the Who, but this is a feeble, pitiful effort.
Oh, and this is most certainly not The Who without The Ox and Moonie.

@marinushj When I saw them in Leeds 2006, they went into this via Pinball Wizard, so that could well be the transition here.
