  • When GLaDOS is in the vortex you can hear her say "shit" 4:41

  • one last thing... WHAT WAS SO DIFFERENT?!

  • @nuggetinabiscit See the video description.

  • @AbyssHunted i saw the discription

sorry i only played the PS3 one.

  • @nuggetinabiscit Well it says right there in the description what's different.

  • WAIT. Why is it in the first one you escape to a parkinglot with buildings and what not, and then in the second one it's a wheat field?! Either Chell was passed out for a LONG time, or Apeture is HUGE.

  • @1GenieoftheLamp1 Chell WAS passed out for a long time. Remember at the start of Portal 2 where the game says "You have been asleep for nine nine nine nine nine nine nine etc..."? She was kept frozen in sleep for decades, if not centuries.

  • does any1 realise that she actually says Valve cant count to 3 when she dies?

  • Weard song says when ur dead il still be a live and I'm watching this at night

  • 1:55

Orange core:Do you smell something burning???

    1:58

    Orange core:AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

  • Nice fps what computer you have a 1997 ssingle core 10 meg video card and a pimping total of 56 megs of ram? Please let me know because if this is your computer you shouldnt be playing these games it ruins the experience. I will send you a list of parts priced at 299 that can play this game full detail and makes the ps3 look like shit.

  • @cj1pate Was recorded on Core 2 Duo @ 3.00GHz/3.00GHz. 3GB RAM. NVidia 9500 w/ 515 MB dedicated video RAM.

Maybe I was a tad under what I should have been running, but that doesn't change the fact that Camtasia does NOT like recording HD footage, especially off Source Engine games.

And thank you for the offer, but I've already upgraded my hardware in the time since this was recorded.

  • 2+2 is.........10

  • Not Full time? SHES NEVER FUCKING LEFT!

  • i didnt win. i rubbed my face all over the raw sewage containor.

  • And thus lead to portal 2

  • It doesn't make sense, how does a gigantic sarcastic robot get sucked up to surface

  • is this a song at end

  • the reason they changed it was because there is now a portal 2

  • GLADOs: HEY i have an idea, lets defy the laws of physics, in other words, LETS FALL UP!!!

  • Anger core sounds like a hunter

  • @CreatorDarkLight I always heard it in my mind as closer to a headcrab, but that's just me.

  • 9:14 in the credits, " thank you for the use of their face" it's the model's name for chell's face

  • The Cores´ scream after dropped into the incinerator is reused as a zombie sound in L4D games. :D Same with the Anger Core´s growl.

  • The new Ending makes sense doesn't it if you've started up Portal 2. I mean I'm sure she didn't want to go back and, do all the tests again.

  • My iPad's being a bitch, so... LAGCEPTION!

  • There really was a caaaake~

  • Whats the old one?

  • @LegoMovieMan44 The old ending has Chell waking up in the parking lot, watching the destruction, just like the new ending. However, the new ending added "thank you for assuming the party escort submission position" and Chell getting dragged back inside. In the old ending, it was implied that Chell got her freedom.

  • @AbyssHunted O.

  • Gordon: Scientist on Black Mesa Labs.

Chell: Subject on Aperture Science Labs.

    Aperture: Forest

    Black Mesa: New Mexico, desert.

    C17: Probably Russia.

    Conclusion:

    Cake.

  • @ligador23 Aperture is a sprawling complex. That particular entrance was in a forest. What about the Rural Test Subject Curiosity Retrieval Elevator in the wheat field at the end of Portal 2?

  • He recorded it with melon.

  • Can you take something out of one game and put it into another? Like Counterstrike Source weapons into Half life 2?

  • @IoeCringen It's theoretically possible with a mod, but the mod might not be so easy to make, since you have to account for different Source Engine games using different systems to manage how weapons work. To just import the CSS weapon models and use them as reskins in HL2 is probably a fairly simple to program; using CSS weapons as functional weapons in HL2 might take quite a bit more coding.

  • @AbyssHunted well i guess it's kinda simiar to half life 1 and stuff. I used a programm to decompile the whole model with all animation stuff and changed it via trying and thinking and compiled it again later. So you kinda need to decompile both models. The one u wanna use and the 1 u want to replace. It's very well possible all in all when u have the right programm.

  • "That is probably a raw sewage container. You should just rub your face all over it.

  • You playing and recording this using a potato?

  • @adliikhwan280 No, with a yam.

  • @AbyssHunted mmmmm

    yam.

  • @adliikhwan280 with potatos :)

  • 2:42 wheatly

  • @TheShadowsKillU Looks similar, but you kind of incinerated the blue core in Portal 1, so it can't really be Wheatly.

  • @AbyssHunted Actually, the incinerator does not destroy any equipment, If you listen carefully to what GLaDOS says before she tries to kill you in the fire, she says that all the equipment can resist the incinerator.

  • @TheShadowsKillU its called the Cake Mix Core. You never played Portal 1.

  • All the other levels right up to the final boss on my system play just fine. However, during the confrontational fight agains't Glados there is a bit of lag in controlled character/crosshair movement that permaites to the overall animation and some movements are overcompensated to make up for the lag. The result is a choppy, stop-motion, gameplay simular to the above video.

  • @worseorbetter It runs fine for when not capturing video, though. My issue is just that my capture software eats up too much CPU, thus lagging the game a bit. I wouldn't be surprised though if the GLaDOS boss fight takes up more CPU, though, since there's a lot going on durng that fight.

  • @AbyssHunted Running a screen capture software program like Fraps or simular can deplete virtual memory i thus affecting gameplay since more memory is being used. Also, your right about a lot of things going on during that part of the game and for every movement there is a good amount of compensation taking place. I think that my problem is that the graphics card is having trouble keeping up.

  • @worseorbetter I had plenty of RAM to spare; the issue at the time was that Camtasia is a CPU hog. My system was running with 100% of my CPU being used when I was playing this.

  • now the cake is no longer a lie...WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO?

  • how can you play like this!?!? x|

  • sooooooo... whats new about it?

  • @jacketsj "Thank you for assuming the party escort submission position" and getting dragged back to Aperture was not in the original ending. In the original end, presumably, you went free after beating GLaDOS.

  • i herd glados say 2+2=(long pause) 10

  • Charlie brown in credits

  • @AbyssHunted So it's neither the recording program nor you having a bad computer. It's the game lagging...well isn't that cause of that your computer is shit then...? I use Camastia and I can record from Crysis Warhead with all on very high without noticing any lag...

  • @GHandPivot What I meant was it's not Camtasia laggng, it's the game itself lagging. Obviously it's because my computer doesn't have enough CPU.

  • is that your computer or is your camera laggy

  • @supersnake1444 It's neither. It's actually THE GAME lagging, because both Source engine games and Camtasia (my recording software) use A LOT of CPU.

  • @AbyssHunted

Technically its your computer. If you are lagging, that means your computer does not have the necessary parts to run both using low cpu. I don't have a problem with the game itself, but I have never tried recording Portal because I cannot find a good recorder that will actually do the job.

  • 4:55

  • was the red eye...growling at you? LMFAOOO!!

  • there is cake!!!!

  • The Cake is Not A Lie! I knew It!

  • ill put you on, Helloooo, thats you! thats how dumb you sound, your not smart your not a doctor your not a scientist your not even a full time Employee. where did ur life go so rong? Hahahhahahaha things have Changed since the last time u left the building, whats going on out there will make you WISH you were back in here, i have infite compassity for info and even i dont know whats going on out there. GlaDOS last words.

  • well done! you just got the partygoer achievement!

  • @mongolianape Already had it.

  • 4:55 to skip cool

  • "the party escort submission Position!

  • These people are geniuses, how else can you pack so many secrets into such a short game, I bet portal 2 will cause people to make conspiracy theory's!

  • wondering what the new song will be in portal 2...

  • I swear to fucking god there must be a good song in portal 2

  • GLaDOS: Go ahead and rub your face all over it.

GLaDOS has some pretty damn good lines.

  • THERE WAS CAKE!?

    Now I just feel guilty..

  • Slideshow! Ive seen enough of those today!

  • lol wtf, I'm missing out on so much random shit right now, new endings, secret codes, hidden messages, hidden images INSIDE OF SOUND FILES?! WTFFF

  • but what about the cake? oh, never mind

  • FINAL THOUGHTS PS. LOL :P

  • 2 + 2 is 10

  • @kunfupanda1231

    IN BASE 4 I'M FINE!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG AT THE END

  • 4:33 I heard ''ASSHOLE''

  • Glados is a total rilf.

  • SKIP! 4:55

  • The sequel has been officially announced, theres an article about it in Gameinforner magazine.

  • @pinkidiot3 Indeed. The article actually mentioned that this new ending for Portal is supposed to bridge the gap between Portal and Portal 2, as you are being dragged back into the lab.

  • @AbyssHunted

if you are dragged back in to do more tests, does that means that chell is the rat-man who gave hints everywhere and helped herself to escape? dang

  • @voodoodummie Dont think so

  • @voodoodummie i agree with abysshunted.

that means you would've had to have killed glados multiple times, and that's.. well.. not.. very.. fuckit, you know what i mean.

  • One line of dialog and a dragging sound effect. Somehow that doesn't seem worth fighting Glados again...

  • @StrikerSL9 Well a lot of people are thinking that it may be hinting at details for the sequel, or that maybe it has some significance in Valve's current viral marketing puzzle.

  • @AbyssHunted Four years ago they closed the game with the main boss singing a song called "Still Alive" and NOW people are looking for hints about sequels.

  • Well no, we've known for a long time that there was going to be a seqel; it's just only now that Valve has actually started a viral marketing campaign for it.

  • @AbyssHunted That's not necessarily true. If every had been saying there would be a sequel, and it was never announced, all the people who speculated would look stupid. Nobody outside of Valve KNEW, people only speculated, until it was announced.

  • @lonew0lfz Actually, we DID know for a long time about Portal 2. Many months before the March 1st viral campaign, there was leaked information that Valve was looking for someone to voice the character Cave Johnson in a new entry in the Portal series. We've known about the game; there just was no official release announcement until the viral campaign finished,
