I think this could be made into a movie now...wouldn't have worked as good in 2001. Love the comic and the art of the comic though. A movie could never do Paul Chadwick's art justice.
Yeah his affection for Maureen was never this overt in the series but if it was for a movie than they would have been expected to beat people over the head with it.
Wow, never knew this was in the pipeline. Really glad it didn't get made. Concrete works specifically for the comic medium in my opinion. It's all about his inner life, which comics are ideal for. No need for a film version.
He looked more bulky and less "humanoid" in figure in the comics. I also thought of him as having a really gravelly voice. And (no offense to the actress -- she's attractive and all) Maureen was portrayed as being very beautiful.
His limbs and waist are too thin.Also when he speaks, the vertical split on his mouth should open up more.When he walks he should also sound heavier and make a more gravely sound. Good voice-acting though but I thought that Maureen was blond?

I would watch this series! And with the comics there would be enough for many seasons worth of excellent stories
