i see the brand on the box, but can you tell me what model is it or where did you buy it from? i like the fact that you can fit a whole apple in it. Thanks
no matter what you do in this world you always have a critic. who cares who bought the juicer. As long as they were aware of what they were buying. I want to buy a juicer and every post I read some people love and hate and give opposite testimonials. Confusing
@LuckyStrike502 its actually a little stupid in my opinion but whatever...you say you needed it for a certain reason so i guess its for weight loss or diabete control..but whatever it is...eating only apples and carrots wont help you fix either these problems or whatever you have as a so called "reason".... i think you just wanted to make people pay for your stuff that you dont actually need but that you say you need... people who donated are stupid so good for them that they got scammed lol....
@Justic3h Nope, not weight loss nor diabetes control. It's for ulcerative colitis. It's hard for me to absorb nutrients because of this, and I can't eat raw fruits or vegetables because they are hard to digest. I don't only use apples and carrots either. I didn't "make" people pay anything. I have friends here, and they aren't stupid. You have the right to your opinion, but you can just keep your hateful opinions to yourself, moron.
@Justic3h you know what? The sad thing in our western culture is that we are so selfish. "Oh why should we pay for someone else" blah blah blah. How is helping others out ever a bad thing? Ever heard of selfless service? Giving without wanting anything in return? And atleast he thanked the people some just run off. Atleast hes being honest about it. You people and your sad greedy lives.
@Justic3h I think your jealous because you didn't think of the idea OR not clever enough or perhaps just incompetent and don't know how to fundraise, its obviously for a noble cause, he wants to live a healthier lifestyle. Kudos to Luckystrike502
I always add a whole lemon juice and a big piece of ginger to all my juices !! always put one beetroot also and it tastes like the most delicious fruit juice in the world !!
carrots apples celery beetroot ginger lemon is delicious
You should try mixing in a little organic raw honey! Its realy good for you and it sweetens it up nicely, don't put to much...and don't put it in the juicer lol.
I can tell by the color of the juice that the nutrients are already destory because of the high speed motor. It is great that you got it off from donation, but slow juicer has more quality juice.
these things are a waste of money. Another gadget that the public has been mislead by. You can get the best juices on the planet in one bottle at the most cost effective price per nutrition than you can with any juicer. I think it's great that people are leaning towards the fruits and vegetables, but you can't buy pure fruit in this country that has the nutrtiion that you need. Not trying to sound like I'm the end all beat all, but it's a professional comment. God bless.
If you strain the juice through a strainer that makes the juice better. Juice won't get stuck in your stomach because it hasn't got fiber. No problem mixing fruit and vegetable juice together for the same reason, (no fiber to contend with)
I do not think it is wise to mix fruits with vegetables because they have different enzymes. You don't want that juice to sit and rot in your stomach. when mixing them they neutralize and digestion is stopped. The juicer looks great, am gonna buy me inchaAllah. THanks for sharing. Mounir
I suspect your biggest problem is the celery as that stuff is actually pretty strong. I made some juice in my breville 800 juicer and the celery I put in it completely overpowered the other fruits and vegetables I mixed in, so I'm figuring I'll probably just use the celery in stews and use other plants for juice.
How many times have you actually used your juicer? All the fruit you are taking in is not good for you. You need to juice veggies and a little bit of fruit. Way too much sugar in all that fruit juice. It defeats the purpose of using a juicer for health benefits.
good video , good combination add a bit of ginger, you will love it . nice jicer, i have the same one but cut the produce its better fro the juicer. cheers from melbourne australia , add some pear as well and cucumber .
Congrats on the juicer--it looks like a really nice one! I like that the "throat" of it is big enough that you don't even have to chop the apples into halves or quarters before juicing them. As you've discovered, celery juice is pretty nasty. So is cabbage juice, but it's supposed to have a healing effect on ulcers *and* colitis, as I'm sure you've read. Spinach is a good "green" to juice, because it's so mild that the carrot/apple is mostly all that you taste. You should try carrot (cont'd)
by itself just to taste it, if you haven't--it's surprisingly sweet on its own! Cold watermelon is excellent to juice, and you juice *all* of it, including the green part--which gets spat out the back. (The color of the juice is weird, but it tastes exactly like...watermelon!)
Cool, I'll have to try carrot juice by itself. Yeah, I need to find a green to drink for my colitis. I'll have to try out spinach, because celery is just horrible, and cabbage just doesn't sound good at all!
Yeah, cabbage juice isn't tasty, but unfortunately it's the one that's advocated as being #1 for ulcerative colitis. From my whopping three minutes of internet research on the subject, I gleaned the following. After juicing cabbage, "pour a 4-oz. glass (½ cup) of cabbage juice and drink it immediately. If you find it too distasteful, chase it down with ½ cup water or ½ cup raw apple juice. You can even add the apple juice to the cabbage juice if necessary. Drink a 4-oz. glass of (cont'd)
cabbage juice 4X per day. Continue this regimen until your colitis symptoms are gone, and continue with at least 2 glasses per day to maintain optimal gastrointestinal health."
It's okay, I got a little more money than I needed anyway, but I appreciate the thought. It's good to hear that you're feeling better. I think everyone has been getting sick lately.
@1mashoman and you are actually wrong on that one...enzymes and such are oxydated in the process due to the high amount of friction and heat and oxygen mixed to the juice in the processing....so you basicly drink aromated water with pretty much no flavour or vitamins or whatever..compared to eating them or having them in a SLOW juicer wich limits the loss and eliminates that f*cking anoying noise. roomates are gonna hate yaa...haha
Yeah, it's really powerful. It has a 900 watt motor, with speeds up to 12,500 RPM. I was worried that it would be a pain in the ass to clean, but it's actually not that bad. :-)
@LuckyStrike502 Definately great people out there however some people just don't know how to keep there ugly comments to themselves. But glad you've got a good juicer to use.
Hey, I just ate some Cracker Barrel, and I got the Country Fried Steak with sawmill gravy, mashed taters, green beans, mac & cheese, and cornbread muffins. It was the shiznit! LOL
LOL - I tried! I still had to wash it though.
There's quite a bit. I love bananas and citrus fruits, but I'm supposed to stay away from citrus fruits. I think they might be too acidic. Bananas are high in potassium, which is really good for me.
Oh yeah, the taste definitely pwned me big time! LOL
Thanks! Yeah, I plan on drinking more natural juices. I've just about cut out soft drinks completely. I've lost almost 40 pounds so far, and the weight started coming off even faster after I cut back on soft drinks. :-)
I have so been waiting on this video! OMG I want one! That is so easy and fast! Carrotts? no no. That so didn't look good. One more apple! LOL I love fried cabbage.
You should get one! The only thing that sucks is cleaning it. Well, it's actually not really too hard to clean, but I hate doing dishes anyway. I don't like cabbage, but I do like sauerkraut and smoked sausage.
