What does it mean when for 3 yrs or more I get my period for 2 weeks it's stops for a couple days and then I bleed buckets to the point I cannot get out of bed because I am to weak. I have two teenage sons! I am almost 42. My mother had her period until 63!!! Can I live like this??? I've had times where my clothes soak right through and I look like a wound victim!!! I know huh? Its a pain 4 me. When I get it it hurts nd I cant swim, not wear the jacket around my waist, nd not get wet. My friends ask me if it hurts when you get it cuz there afraid of getting it. But either way I wish I never got it but at least im a woman now that I got it nd Im 13 :P

@WolvesOfMidnight24 Hello! It could be a number of things, #1 thing you should consider is pregnancy. If you are sexually active and you havent gotten your period than a pregnancy test might not be a bad idea. White discharge is only a concern if it has a foul smell to it, that might mean you have an infection. However, do not forget that all women have a little discharge but the amount they get depends on that woman itself.

@WolvesOfMidnight24 Also, let me go ahead and add that i had the exact same problem. My period was gone...i mean completely gone...for 5 months. I still got cramps, backaches, you name it...but there was no blood flow and a lot of the times...a woman worries and that causes stress and STRESS is one of the biggest factors that affects a period because it deals with the same hormone. Regardless of the situation, seeing a Gynocologis would not be a bad idea ;D Hope that helped!

@MsStarFlow56 Are you a teenager? If yes, that's normals. Girls' period, in the first years, isn't usually regular, which means sometimes we don't have it for months.

This is all wrong.Spotting is when your lower back has cramps 24 hours.And your period is when you have adominal bleeding just proving your body iois growing and saying;"hey your vignal area is growing!".And you have them.Ive alreyd had mine,And you cant tell a few weeks before it comes,you get cramps,your bac khurts,tummy aches etc.
