I loved this game too! The music was epic and I remember there was this trick for beating the Dragons and the stocked up rocks too! All you need to do is kneel down next to it and keep attacking! You wouldn't get hit!
@psterud well technically I loved the game before I read the book, (when I saw it was in there I was literally *giddy* with excitement....) but I was looking for something to make an expanded version of the soundtrack (ernie posted it on his blog, but I didn't see anything on BT on the songlist) so here I am. :P
This is a game that with a lot of pratice and memorization you can beat it with 1 life,1 coin and no continues,I did it at the arcades before. This is one of my favorites video games, the music is great.
@ajkfrty7 When i was 16 i was so pasionate about this game and luved it so much,i used to finish it on 1 man 70% of the time.I remember playing 2 player with other kids with me going first up...They'd have to wait a long time for their go...Ah those were the dayz....
@ajkfrty7 Hell, yeah! Black Tiger was one of those old, great games that you could beat with one quarter. I timed myself one time; one quarter and about 45 minutes was all it took to beat Black Tiger. Nowadays, all the arcade games are designed to be quarter-eaters, and you can safely expect to spend at least three dollars beating one, if not ten or more.
The 80's were the Golden Age of arcade video games. I miss those days.

Those pink ninjas are just as hilarious today as they were more than 20 years ago. They look like ski jumpers. :)
