I am glad to hear a liberal progressive like Micheal come out and say how sick he is of being nice to conservatives or republicans when we KNOW that we are on the right side of history. President Obama was TOO WEAK in dealing with republicans this time but mark my words... republicans will regret making the president see their true colors. President Obama is even more focused now.
face the fact there is no bill that is ever passed that is 100% good thats just not gonna happen but i agree when something isnt perfect you work on it im proud that we have healthreform so now we are moving in the right direction and lets see what happens when the republicans put something together people will still be against them also and it will then be a all out war so it is a loose loose situation! maybe if only people would see that. :D
There's a really simple way to reform healthcare and make it affordable: Require that all health insurance companies and healthcare providers be run as nonprofit organizations. It's so ridiculously simple that I'm sure Congress never thought of it. It's also so likely to be successful that the medical industrial complex will fight tooth and claw to make sure it doesn't happen.
God, can you imagine looking like THAT and putting your own pasty face on the cover of a book called, 'Stupid White Men'? Pa-FRIKIN'-thetic! I love the left!
Actually he's right. The polls show people oppose the current plan because i doesn't go far enough. When asked about whether they would support a bill that enacted universal health care, then the majority supported it.
I doubt Fox/Rush etc., reported this little detail.
@newmac and now the Republicans are going to sweep the mid-terms. Most of the people i know don't want it, never did and they're liberals. If you want to have your taxes jacked up even more, more power to you. But I don't.

It was called the Election of President Obama. Squandered now; with a health care bill no better than weak soup. America wanted Universal Healthcare.
