I have a doctor in Cornell, NY. They stopped using infergen in their practice 3 years ago! Severe side effects and very low to no chance of staying undetectable after. In a couple of years there will be more drugs do not do this to yourself. Interferon was more then enough.
thx....2 bad social security doesnt think the side effects were bad....ive gotten turned down 9 times for disability and waiten for the 10th...it was the worst kind of hell u could imagen and the side effects continue
I am 31 weeks into a 48 week treatment. Virus has been undetectable in the blood for last three months. In the last two weeks I have developed an auto immune problem. My body is attacking my joints in my knees, shoulders, hands and elbows. Extremely painful. I am seeing the doc tomorrow to drop treatment. I'll need to start treatment for my joint pain. Hope damage is reveraible. Good LUCK!!!
sorry 2 hear about that.....make sure u keep track of side effects after u stop doin treatment...heard some possibly good news....they r workin on another treatment with teleprivar....side effects should b alot less and results alot better...only in phase 3 clinical trials right now....so im waitin for that
@redeemedinokc im on my 16th time and finally got a different judge this time...its funny that they give billions of dollars 2 ppl that will kill us but wont give us r own money we put aside for when we r sick and cant work
im in week 1 also geno 1, i feel very good actually, when is it gonna get worse? i am trying to stay positive and optimistic but for now its too good to be true, its not like I want to feel sick or anything:) just how is your experience?

dem6colcorz; tell you mom to drink LOTS of liquid, as much as she can, that will help the side effects. Also getting an antidepressant, something for allergies like Claritin, something to help her sleep, and taking Tylenol just before she takes the shot will help. She can call the American Liver Foundation for the nearest HepC support group in her area. I've done it 3 times, whined the whole time, and still relapsed. But it helped!
crappy....it seems im always in the wrong per centage...i got perment side effects...i cant seem 2 get disablity but everyone is different...she might breeze thru....they arent lookin in the right places....there is more money in research then a cure

@GUVNUR79 A friend of mine got it in less than a week. He`s was late 50`s and has COPD due to Smoking and he`s a veteran, go figure.
