  • @bigfoot11032 Thanks.

  • I love it.. ur great

  • Great version. I particularly like the change(s) of tempo!!

  • @FolkAndMore Thank you.

  • This is a great song, and a well performed and entertaining rendition. I also really like divided video with the alternate vocal tracks and the keyboard, although this remains my favourite.

  • This is a great song, well performed and well demonstrated. I also really like the divided video with the alternate vocal clips and keyboard, though I have to say this is still my favourite.

  • @nibede Thank you.

  • Really like your version, especially your guitar. Pictures are great. I can hear some Roy Acuff in some of your singing. Thanks!

  • @CARRICK6423 Thanks. Roy was great. I saw him in person in the 1960s.

  • Great Job on a Classic.

  • Thanks. They wrote good songs about trains.

  • Well done, Tom, it's great to hear you singing the old songs, just you and the guitar

  • Thanks, Matthew. This is definitely an old one. I loved this song as a kid. I was able to watch Roy Acuff in person in the 1960s doing this.

  • Awesome one,Tom.

    Great song and editing.

I love your homemade green screen.

    Alex.

  • Thanks, Alex. I need a bit more light behind me and on the wall and a bit less light on my bald head.

  • Thanks. Great old tune. Always thought it was a real train engine but just Googled it and is a mythical one.

  • Yes. I think there was a real Wabash Cannonball after the song was written that went through Indiana. The original was a fictional train though I think. Thanks.

  • Great stuff, Tom. This song is one of my favorites and your rendition is memorable.

  • Thanks, Mike.

  • Thanks again, Tom!

  • Thank you Ronnie for watching. You are a great fan.

  • Great cover!! I'd love to try this song sometime as well.

  • Thanks. I highly recommend it. The song is Public Domain and YouTube will never delete it for any copyright issues.

  • Awesome!!!

  • Thanks.

  • Great tune. Definitely a classic. :)

  • Thank you.

  • That's the kind of country I like.

  • Thanks.

  • Tom, Tops...as usual! Dan

  • Thank you.

  • Great enjoyed the guitar playing. So many versions of that song. It must be one of the most popular songs on the planet.

  • Thanks. It has been recorded for many decades also. The song is past 100. I like so many versions, Boxcar Willie and Roy Acuff did great recordings of it. I watched Roy sing it in person one time more than 40 years ago.

  • Awesome, Tom! 5*

I can't wait for our new collab! ;)

    Hugs

  • Thamks, Raffa. That will be coming soon. Hugs.

  • Great song, Tom! I have a version of this by Boxcar Willie I really like. But he's got competition now.

  • I love Boxcar Willie's version. I mention in one of the verses the names of Boxcar and Carter and Cash and Acuff and Wiseman as a tribute to those guys who did great versions of this song. One of Willie's fiddle players in his video of this song looks a lot like a guy I know named Gavin. Thanks, Andy. You and I have similar taste in many areas.

  • One of the best songs I heard in a long time. Good job!!!

  • Thank you very much.

  • big up Tom, one of your best uplolads yet, cheered up my grey monday off work, with slight hangover. Cheers bud!! Keith

  • Thank you.
