This is a great song, and a well performed and entertaining rendition. I also really like divided video with the alternate vocal tracks and the keyboard, although this remains my favourite.
This is a great song, well performed and well demonstrated. I also really like the divided video with the alternate vocal clips and keyboard, though I have to say this is still my favourite.
Yes. I think there was a real Wabash Cannonball after the song was written that went through Indiana. The original was a fictional train though I think. Thanks.
Thanks. It has been recorded for many decades also. The song is past 100. I like so many versions, Boxcar Willie and Roy Acuff did great recordings of it. I watched Roy sing it in person one time more than 40 years ago.
I love Boxcar Willie's version. I mention in one of the verses the names of Boxcar and Carter and Cash and Acuff and Wiseman as a tribute to those guys who did great versions of this song. One of Willie's fiddle players in his video of this song looks a lot like a guy I know named Gavin. Thanks, Andy. You and I have similar taste in many areas.

Thanks, Matthew. This is definitely an old one. I loved this song as a kid. I was able to watch Roy Acuff in person in the 1960s doing this.

Thanks, Alex. I need a bit more light behind me and on the wall and a bit less light on my bald head.

Thanks. Great old tune. Always thought it was a real train engine but just Googled it and is a mythical one.

Great enjoyed the guitar playing. So many versions of that song. It must be one of the most popular songs on the planet.
